the staff was friendly but the facility is filthy. It appears that many of the rooms are rented on a long term basis. I had to ask for everything that normally is in a hotel room. I did not feel that comfortable with their sanitation efforts and in the age of Covid 19 it was a scary place.
Do not stay at this hotel. It smells like straight pot as soon as you walk into the door. The people at reception are high as a kite. There was no toilet paper in the room & they made it feel like an inconvenience to give me any. Rooms are still being cleaned at 8pm at night. On the third floor, they are moving what sounds like furniture at 3am in the morning and stomping around when people have work at 6am. And on top of that this HUGE spider was in my room right before I was heading to bed. I cannot stress this enough. DO NOT STAY HERE!
Stayed two nights; changed rooms three times. The motel is going through an extensive remodel (translated: other stuff is being neglected); doors not locking, properly; didn’t have towels; no hot water at the sink (valve was turned off, below); room not sufficiently cleaned; missing light bulbs; furniture handles, loose; toilet seat, loose; outlet not working (thus, refrigerator not working); shower handle fell off; trash in hallways not removed; heard footsteps & noise in room above me at 1:00am. I should have left, but the price was right, and I’m normally not too fussy. I felt sorry for the front desk staff, as they were as helpful as could be. Even the front desk area was in disarray. The breakfast was insufficient, and the eating area had only two tables. In my opinion, the place should be closed until remodeling is finished. At checkout, the clerk told me they had a shoddy crew, but have since found someone, new. One plus: the water was hot; scalding hot.
Very clean room and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. They are doing renovations so the exterior looks a little cluttered, but we were in a room that was newly renovated. Very nice for the money.
The hotel is nice. Standard issue. The only problems i had were thru expedia. They dbl charged me for a room. Hotel had nothing to do other than being booked thru expedia. When i called expedia, they were very rude. Talking over me. Wouldnt let me finish a word without reading their cue cards. You cant get a room WITHOUT PAYMENT. they said the hotel gave me the room and they waited a week to accept my payment. Problem was they had already took my payment the night i chkd in. My acct clearly shows transaction. Then when i re-up friday. Room got paid for. 10 mins later they took another payment out. Utter bs. Never again. Book straight thru hotel. Price is about the same.
