We recently stayed in unit 56 and I can safely say it’s one of the worst kept and maintained apartments I have ever stayed in.

It was hard to find a single wall that wasn’t dinted, marked, full of old screw holes, or just plain dirty.

The stained bedspread wasn’t much of a welcome, and the copious amounts of dark curly hair all over the bathroom floor was a concerning sign as to the overall hygiene of the house keeping. One of the heat globe lights in the bathroom was missing as well.

The lounge and cushions were also covered in stains, and the missing blind in the lounge room didn’t offer much privacy.

Backing on to the main road we heard pretty much every single car that drove past, day and night. We were not able to open any of the balcony doors due to the constant noise.

The complimentary wifi was a nice touch, if it worked. After multiple restarts of the modem we gave up.

The cooktop has lost all the temperature guides so it was hard to gauge how hot the stove was.

Either the owner of the apartment is not aware of the amount of damage and disrepair, or they just don’t want to spend the money on the repairs. Having seen one of the one bedroom units in the complex, our two bedroom apartment was certainly well below the standard. I can understand money is tight due to COVID, but what we paid certainly didn’t represent the sub-standard accommodation.

We’re very disappointed that we unfortunately ended up in this terrible apartment and certainly would not recommend it.

Housekeeping was an issue. Cooking appliances were left dirty in cupboard and a mould fest in the on suite bathroom sink and shower. For the price the expectation were higher. Location to the beach was great. Pool temp was still a little cool.

We loved our stay and wish we had longer. The room was clean, the beds very comfy and had everything you could want. There are several pools to choose from with one being heated. Great location being central to 1770 or Agnes Waters.

We stayed one night in a very pleasant, one bedroom apartment which was stocked with everything you could possibly want for a longer stay - including a laundry and outside eating area and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Check in and out was fast and friendly. Given the location, so close to the beach, we hope to return to enjoy a longer stay in this lovely area/apartments. The lady at reception gave us recommendations for dining which proved to be excellent. Only drawback was a $20 charge is you didn't wash up your crockery/cutlery and put it away. We didn't incur it but for the tariff charged, I would expect that housekeeping should do that job.

Terrible Service - Deceitful Room Types
The owners are terribly rude!
We originally booked using booking.com website.
The room description clearly states that a 2 bedroom apartment has 1 double bed, 2 singles, and a sofa bed. This suited us perfectly.
However, after we checked in to the room we discovered there was no sofa bed.
When I asked the question and showed the owners that booking stated the room had a sofa, I was abused, told I was wrong, that it's not their problem and that I would have to pay extra if I wanted a "hired" sofa bed.
The location in Agnes is really good and the apartments are decent, without being great. They are starting to get a little bit older and they were not very clean.
Not sure how they advertise these as four stars?
Either way, Service goes a long way and the service here is beyond terrible!
