Family trip to Binghamton University At HAMPTON inn. Always a pleasure to stay at a place where everyone is always willing to help you. The hotel is newly Renovated. So everything in Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms too. From Gym to Heated indoor pool and complementary breakfast area and other areas they are all very nice.
Hotel is just off Vestal parkway and very close to restaurants/shops and Binghamton University. Appears modern and fairly clean throughout. Room is spacious with good layout, and has new furniture with large TV and USB ports throughout. Did take a minute to find the closet hidden next to the window.
Continental breakfast is typical Hampton with a good selection of items. Fitness center has about 4-5 machines, all relatively new. Plenty of parking outside.
One thing was that the bed made a noticeable metallic clang every time I walked by or entered. Nonetheless, would consider staying here again.
The hotel is newly renovated and it's nicely done. Clean, comfortable bed, awesome waterfall shower, and nice, clean fitness center. Complimentary breakfast and coffee is a great bonus! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great stay.
I had a spacious two room suite for a very reasonable price. Free wifi for Honors members was excellent. Just an overnight stay so didn't use the fitness center or pool but they both looked good. Comp breakfast buffet will satisfy but not overwhelm. Only negative is that you need your GPS to find the place - behind a Panera Bread place on a curvy road.
While this is not the easiest place to find, it is worth the hunt! Turn up the hill by Panera is the secret. The staff were outstanding! Everyone I encountered was focused on being sure my stay was pleasant. I requested a reading lamp and extra hangers - no problem! A ride to the airport Wednesday morning was provided by a driver who was fun to visit with on the 10 mile journey. The breakfast buffet was open 6-10 am with many choices including fresh fruit. The hotel has a meeting room, pool, fitness center - all of which I used. Free parking on all sides of the building. It is not a recommended location for walking outdoors, however. It is on a busy street with no sidewalks. Several restaurants are close enough to walk to without really being on the busy road. Vestal Parkway allows U-turns because it has a center barrier that prevents left turns into establishments.
