We love Franschhoek and have been many times but this is the first stay with Elsa & Jaco at Centre-Ville.
Lovely guest house, nice pool area and great breakfast.
We opted to have the honeymoon room even though we weren't on honeymoon - just so we had the private terrace area.
It was a good decision - as we wanted to rest after 2 weeks travelling around.
Location is superb just a 5 mins walk into the main area of town.
Thanks again.

We stayed in Centre-Ville Guest House for 2 nights (we got a free upgrade!). We got a warm welcome by Jacu, who gave us a lot of tips regarding things to do and places to eat (go to Le Bon Vivant, amazing food, great wine). Our room was beautiful and convenient: good bed, bathroom with shower and bath tub. Everything was thought of! Breakfast (hot and cold) is served in the garden, which has a small splash pool.

Several wineries are within walking distance of the guesthouse (about 20-30 minutes, which is doable). Hiking in the Mont Rochelle should be great (we couldn't do it because of the fog)! Just ask Jacu if you want to know more about activities to do!

We only stayed over for one night up in an attic room which was very cozy clean & comfortable. Our shower was a little small but the bath was awesome. The huge big bed was extremely relaxing and we slept very well - far apart from each other.
Our breakfast outside in the garden next to the pool was scrumptious. (Coffee was too strong for me)

Else and Jaco could not have been more accommodating and the perfect hosts. The guest house is perfectly situated to be able to walk around the town. It’s also a short walk to hop on the Wine Tram. We stayed 2 nights - 6 friends in 3 bedrooms. A month on we are still talking about what a wonderful time we had. Breakfast is served to order and the outside garden and pool where an added bonus. Would highly recommend this beautiful guest house to all.

We spent two nights in the "Splendour" room in Feb 2011 and were very satisfied with the service and quality of Centre-Ville. The room was clean, spacious, secure and private. The outdoor area downstairs was quaint and comfortable. The pool was small but perfect for a quick dip. The staff were all friendly and the breakfast was top notch for a B&B.

We chose Centre-Ville for the competitive price and the location - it's just a short walk (2 minutes) to the town centre shops/restaurants.

Jaco, Elsa and Eldorette were very friendly and helpful hosts who made us feel very welcome and offered some good suggestions for local wineries and restaurants. We did a full day wine tour with Eldorette, which was a wonderful experience filled with great food and wine and some interesting local history.

I would definitely stay at Centre-Ville again and recommend it to any friends visiting Franschhoek.
