Me and my boyfriend stayed at this cozy guest house for 2 nights in january 2014. The room was beautiful with charming details. The breakfast had everything you could wish for and a little bit more😃. The owners were really helpful and booked restaurant for us and gave us tips on where to go and what to do. The location of the guest house was perfect. We spent two nights at Centre-Ville. Else was a wonderful host and very helpful in planning our day. Our room was on the main floor and large and comfortable. We had a claw foot tub and a shower. I appreciated the soaps and lotions after being on the road for many days. The outside terrace is very nice and we ate breakfast there both days. Bright colored green blankets were on the back of each chair to keep the morning chill off. The second night we decided to have a picnic for dinner rather than go out again. Else saw us sitting on the terrace and immediately brought us a cutting board, knife, napkins, and wine glasses to make our picnic more enjoyable. The guest house is close to some very nice wineries and a short walk from the main street of Franschhoek, where there are many cute shops and restaurants. The Saturday market was lots of fun to walk through. Wifi was good in the living area of the guest house. Else's staff were all friendly and helpful and went out of their way for us.

Our stay was very comfortable. Elsa and Jaco went out of their way to meet our needs. Their home is a lovely classic, our room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. We were a short block away from the downtown, an easy walk.

Stayed here for two nights lovely bed and breakfast we stayed in the splendour room which was very nice. We had an early start the day we were leaving and they were kind enough to cook us breakfast Would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast

We stayed at the beautiful Centre Ville for our South African wedding. What a LOVELY place with such warm and lovely hosts. Each room has been beautifully decorated; the honeymoon suite with the balcony is just superb and really worked as the room for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready in. The BREAKFASTS - absolutely fabulous: Jaco understood the need for coffee and made sure we were topped up regularly. The breakfast spread was so pretty with so much attention to detail, even edible flowers garnishing the plates. Yoghurt, cereal, fruit and breads are available to start (or for the less hungry) but do yourself a favour and do try a cooked breakfast - delicious!
Elsa was also so helpful at recommending a lovely local salon for our bridal hair and makeup as well as the perfect restaurant for both families to get together at the night before the big day. My only regret was that I had not found and booked Centre Ville earlier than I did as I would have then booked up the whole place with friends and family!
We'll definitely return - hopefully for our anniversary if not before!
