While the property is lovely, when booking, there was no indication that twice the nightly rates would be charged if pets are staying. We chose this property because it is listed as pet friendly. However, nothing was mentioned about doubling the nightly rate for pets until after we were in our room. NO mention while booking, NO mention while checking in. We reserved a room with king bed, and had a room with 2 queens. Very disappointed also, that in spite of multiple, easy to read signs were posted in and around the lobby that masks were required, we were the only guests wearing them. One couple wore masks around their necks, another guest held his mask in his hand, and the desk clerks' masks covered their mouths, but not their noses. The desk clerks did nothing to enforce guests wear masks. Cannot recommend this hotel nor will we stay there again.
