We recently stayed here for 3 nights during a trip to Yellowstone National Park. The location is great, right in the middle of town and only minutes from the west entrance of the park. You can walk to most restaurants in town from the hotel. The rooms are not fancy but it's a lodge, not a 5 star hotel. The biggest problem is that the toilets don't flush if there is anything solid in them. At least there was a plunger in the room but plunging toilets isn't exactly what I want to spend my vacation doing. There are better places to stay in the area and if we return to Yellowstone in the future, I don't think I'd stay here again.
The hotel is sub par in so many ways, except location. If you need an inexpensive room before entering the Park, okay.
The blanket/bedspread was filthy. No internet. I had to ask for soap. There was cheap coffee and no tea.
There was a good sized room refrigerator which helped me keep food cold for the next day. The cabins are quaint, and with more care, it would have been fine.
Looked quaint from the outside but that is where it ended. Had to press the button & wait for a young chap to open the office, it appeared that we had interrupted whatever he was doing, he was certainly not very friendly or welcoming. Pointed to our cabin which fronted the street, when we asked where to park he said on the street, which we were not very happy with. Upon entering the dark dirty room, we were very disappointed, it was very basic and well past its use by date. There was meant to be free WiFi, but it did not work. The air conditioning did not work, and the mini fridge sounded like it was on its last leg. We went out for dinner and stayed out as long as we could, as we did not want to be in this room. Certainly was expensive for what we got, we would not recommend these cabins.
we chose this thinking it would be a novel place to stay as the price implied it would be good!!!
how wrong we were the room felt dirty , bath room was dirty shower leaking wash basin leaking, bed was uncomfortable....even the step into the shed was dirty (my garden shed at home is better and my dogs sleep in there)
reception desk was not very welcoming it was a case of here's your key and you in that room???
poor internet / wifi
in a good location for the town and visiting Yellowstone park.
free parking out side..
I made this booking through Booking.com at a rate of 252.90 for four people in a "deluxe" cabin with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. The first bedroom has 1/2 a foot space between the bed and each wall. There is no place to open a suitcase other than the bed. The kitchen smelled of gas and had a window with a beautiful view of a storage place. The shower base was rusted, the vinyl floor was old and dirty. This place should be closed - it doesn't qualify for a decent tourism hotel. Stay away!
