Good hotel in Batna
Stayed in the city for 3 nights. The city itself is quite rustic and rural in appearance so I guess the hotel is quite good based on its setting. The hotel interior decor is nice with tile paintings of timgad, the roman ruins located 1 hour away from batna city, and local art decor. The hotel has elevator service for the 6 loors from reception which Is 1 flight of stairs from ground level. Room is at 6th floor has good interior space, firm bed and dusty sofa with good balcony offering a view of the city and surrounding mountains. Bathroom is old but has nice painted trimmings on all fixtures. Internet was decent in rooms but bad in lobby and restaurant. Breakfast is simple with bread,jam,cheese,butter,croissants,bottled orange juice, milk and coffee with some occassional eggs although my host said this is the typical algerian breakfast. Dinners at the restaurant are good with a variety of dishes. The reception staff are okay and usually friendly. The hotel staff during breakfast is not helpful and attentive but the waiting staff at night are good and friendly.

Two weeks
Stayed there four times. Positive point is that they have hot water and delicious food. Breakfast was awful, milk croissant didn't like anything!
Wifi works from time to time except for lobby it's more or less always working.

Difficult to judge
Travelling with our small group, we spent two nights here. Our room was clean, the bathroom was extremely colourful (blue and yellow tiles and friezes of tiny blue flowers) and everything worked. The staff was friendly and obliging. Breakfast was minimal and everything was too much trouble for the man in charge of the bar. That was a shame since it spoiled the very favourable impression we would otherwise have taken away from this establishment.

Excellent
Very good hotel, i will visit it very soon again. Large beautiful room, super staff, English language was a bit of a problem but we manage it! :) Definitively, my next choice again! Good food also, loved the sweets after dinner!

Simple hotel with wifi and large bath room on route to Sahara
Simple but clean hotel with friendly staff. Large rooms with wooden furniture and large bath room with multicolored tiles. Restaurant with limited menu and simple breakfast. Excellent for sto over on route to South of Algeria. French speaking, not much English.
