My name is Joia Wiltz. There was an emergency in which my family and I had to leave our home for the weekend. In the midst of this sudden change however we were greeted by this hotel with such great hospitality! Taylor has been an exceptional help and has provided top notch customer service. She has made sure that my family and I are comfortable during our stay here. The 2 bedroom suite is very accommodating and meets all of my expectations and needs. I would highly recommend this hotel to any guests that’s looking for a clean and pleasant stay.
So this hotel has used COVID to basically not give you anything. No breakfast, not even a bag take, but they will sell you breakfast items. There gym is closed. They will NOT clean your room unless you're there more than 7 days.
Well restaurants are open and other hotels are offering breakfasts so how come they can't figure out a way. They certainly are charging full price. Same with the gym, other hotels have their gyms open but this hotel doesn't.
I have stayed at hotels over 90 days since COVID started and in the beginning this was the norm but I haven't seen this since June. They are just taking advantage of COVID to cut their cost but still charging full price. No hotels I've stayed in in the last 90 days still have everything shut down.
Book somewhere else.
We chose to stay at this hotel for the kitchen. It has a full size refrigerator, dishwasher oven and cook top. They advertise a fully equipped kitchen. LOL!! We picked up a pizza thinking we would be able to put it in the oven. The problem? The room had NO cookware for the oven. No cookie sheet....NOTHING. We called the front desk to see if they had anything we could put our pizza on in the oven. NOPE! There was also no pot holder or spatula. These things are pretty basic in a kitchen. There were also only 2 glasses. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which included a sofa bed, but only 2 glasses. Next time we are here we will stay at the Holiday Inn with a microwave for less money. Expected more from a Marriott property.
Stayed here for Hurricane Sally, the rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are so comfortable. They give you so many pillows to choose from. Soft, medium, firm, I think I had about 4 to choose from. The room was nice and chilled for us when we got there. The hotel team was on their 'A' game helping all the guests. To all the workers thanks so much and to the manager ( Angel) Hats off to all of y'all!!
There are several restaurants and shops right across from this hotel. Very quiet in the room must be insulated well. If your looking for a great hotel and staff look no further!
I stayed here when I moved from Louisiana to Florida because it was pet friendly. The staff was extremely friendly, even showing me to my building. They were in the process of updating the rooms; we were given a newly updated room.
Free Wifi was available and the room included a full kitchen which is nice. The A/C was nice and cold, lending time a good sleep. The bathroom had a new shower enclosure, very nice.
The pull out sofa bed was HORRIBLY uncomfortable. Parking was a bit tight. No breakfast was being offered, I can't remember if they said why.
This is a nice hotel and I would stay there again.
