The facility is much older than the photos displayed. Our room & refrigerator wasn't very clean(also, ice buildup in fridge), there was visible dirt & dust everywhere. The air/heat unit was extremely loud, the beds were uncomfortable & an old smell throughout the room. My husband & I went to Walmart & bought air freshener & a cinnamon air filter. The pool was horrible & I can only hope that was because of the covid restrictions.
On the positive side, Skylar @the front desk was very friendly & helpful.
Check in was fine, but down hill after that. The room smelled, and the carpet was sticky. Sat down in the lounge chair and it dump me in the floor. Some had tried to fix it, but what need to be done was more that set the leg back on without fastenings it. The pool was green and nasty, guess it was closed. Travelers beware!!
We stayed at this hotel on our way home to Florida. It’s a way off 1 75 but worth it as it’s quiet. Check in was a non event, no welcome or smiling face. The room was clean and spacious and the beds very comfortable. All amenities not available because of Covid-19. Breakfast was grab and go, really a waste of time. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area.
We stayed at this Comfort Inn on our way to Florida. It is clean, modern and inviting. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hotel is actually in town (3 miles or so off I-75), as are most hotels. This hotel is conveniently located on the main road through town and is near many good restaurants and shopping areas. The breakfast items are standard fare and were fine. The thing that stood out most for us was the friendliness and courteousness of the front desk person, Teequan. He was welcoming and one of the few during our travels that acknowledged us as Elite members. He even called our room to ensure everything was OK with the room. If this is standard practice for this hotel, I commend the extra "guest attention". We enjoyed our first stay so much that we made it a point to stay here on our return trip.
Stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend.(12/28/19 thru 12/1/2019) The room was nice, the bathroom was a nice size, front desk Teequan was awesome and very polite. The breakfast was good (except when coffee was cold 2 mornings in a row). Housekeeper
knocks, says housekeeping while opening the door. Couldn't wait for a response. My issue is that a piece of my jewelry was missing from my room (bathroom). Reported it at front desk and have been calling most of the week (12/1/19, 12/2/19, 12/3/19, 12/7/19 early am). No answer 12/7/19 when called 3 times (8 o'clock hour). I will keep calling. I was on second floor, room 248. Housekeeping manager was nice and I sent pic of my ring that was part of a set but no further communication (no update?). This is my very first time staying at a Comfort Inn and hate the experience. I'm a 52 year old Army veteran who just wanted to enjoy myself and have been stressing over this since. Not happy. Gave 2 because of experience with some staff but hotel was great
