We had 11 nights at this site on a large shady pitch with electricity. Our children aged 10 and 13 loved the pool and slides, playing football, ping pong, tennis and crazy golf. We took an inflatable dinghy and paddled up the river. The only reason I've not given it 5 stars was because when the site was busy the toilet block could have done with having an extra clean scheduled in - it quite quickly became grubby.

There are lots of off-road cycle routes starting at the campsite. Reception have a ring binder with printouts of each route - they advised taking a photo of this, which to me didn't seem like a dependable map, but the routes are actually very well sign posted. We did route 1 (5.5K) and my 10 year old pushed her bike some of the way - it took us an hour. We also did route 6 stopping at the bakery in Eymouthiers (around 10K and it took us about 3 hours in all! They are quite technical paths, one steep stretch it seemed as though a builder had just dumped all his rubble on it! But we did enjoy it - just allow plenty of time if you have kids.

The supermarket is a 10 minute drive away - it would only take half an hour to cycle but it is a very steep hill out of the site.

We have just spent 9 nights at this campsite and can’t recommend it enough. We brought our own tent but paid more for a decked and covered area with fridge and tables and chairs which was definitely worth it. The campsite is sent in beautiful surroundings and there is loads for the kids to do we did horse rides tree high wires tennis crazy golf and went on some lovely walks . The pool was lovely and clean we always managed to get a sun lounger and the kids loved the water slides. The restaurant on site was great and the kids especially enjoyed the wooden games evening. All the staff were friendly and helpful we will definitely be back

Stayed one night in a motorhome low season. Stayed on a large inner circle pitch beside pool. Georgous location and so peaceful. Shower facilities were not 'modern' but worked perfectly well. In the shower block beside us there was only 2 showers you could actually use as others were closed presumably to save on cleaning but there were at least 7 fellow campers possibly using same showers which meant constantly watching to see if anyone using them. Adequate kids area to keep a 7yr old entertained for 10-15mins, open air pool and cycle paths and walks galore. Very quiet site so not the place to go if looking for a lively place. Staff very friendly. Would stay again. Only giving 4 stars due to lack of showers able to use.

We were blown away with the beauty of this site. Set on top of a gorge, our pitch provided wonderful views, sunsets 🌅 were wonderful. We had chosen a premier pitch which gave us a gazebo gas hob fridge and chairs and dining table, well worth the additional cost. Our toilet facilities were dated so hopefully are due a refurbishment like the other facilities in the centre of the site. Great team, so helpful and friendly nothing was a problem, maintenance of the site was exceptional. Small shop in reception which provided general groceries and fresh bread everyday. Lots for children especially young children to do, swimming pool 🏊🏻 play area. We did some lively walks especially down along the river. We also did some great sightseeing around the area. A truly wonderful relaxing site.

We originally booked this site for a three night stop-over in June 2017 on our way to the Dordogne. The site is very spacious with the pitches being arranged in a circular manner around the facilities block. The pitches are a good size and offer some well needed shade.
The site as a whole is clean and tidy. The pool is spacious with sufficient sun beds and is regularly cleaned.
The stars of the show, however, are the staff. They are bright, cheerful and nothing is too much for them. While at this site, I was taken ill and needed hospital treatment. The staff couldn't have done more: calling the ambulances (yes, plural !), translating my symptoms, and looking after my wife while I was away. They even called my next site to explain that I was delayed !
I very much recommend this site.
