We stayed with Bill & Nooks for 2 nights in September at the end of our garden route trip and had a fantastic stay! When we arrived Nooks showed us to our room and on the way I said how much I was looking forward to a bath. She said the room we were in didn't have one but we could switch rooms if we would like to as we were the first people to check in for the day. She then showed us two of the other rooms and we selected a lovely room with garden views with an enormous bath - heaven! Nooks did explain that our room had a connecting door to the room next to it and that there would be someone in there that night but hopefully as it was just one person we wouldn't be bothered by the noise and we assured her that was fine. Well it turns out that the single person in that room could not have been noisier if they tried - tv really loud, phone conversations at 5.40am! The following morning at breakfast Nooks and Bill were mortified and said they would have a word with the guest which is all we could ask for! Breakfast was great - we didn't have cooked breakfast (our choice) but there was a good array of cereal, toast, fruit and yogurt to choose from which was perfect. So, the upshot is - we loved this guest house and the hosts were so accommodating and really friendly and helpful but the guests not so much lol! We chose the room and Nooks did explain about the door so in no way is there any criticism levelled at Blue Sky just maybe a gentle forewarning to check if you are in one of the garden rooms whether you might have noisy neighbours! Next time we are in Port Elizabeth we will definitely stay here again!
