The venue was of good quality, comfortable and clean. It’s a pity that the view was obstructed by the neighbours roof and only 50% of the view that was promised in the Booking.com booking page on the internet. Little packing space for the bedroom. Parking is also tight.
This Guest Lodge is an unknown gem a must visit. The view from the rooms is amazing and the rooms have everything that you require. I stayed in SAIL and this room was perfect for a longer stay for a family
The house keeper was extremely professional and accomadating. Very kind and jolly ☺. The room was very cozy and the heater panels were amazing during this winter time. The views of the ocean was phenomenal.
We were allocated the very top floor apartment. And what a view!
The apartment was very bright and spacious with two bedrooms (we only use one) and a big bathroom.
It’s fully equipped and there’s even a gas barbecue (on the ground floor there’s a normal wood braai). As it was very windy and a bit chill in the evening we finally retreat I Sade for dinner but had a few drinks on the terrace first.
There’s a small shopping centre five minutes drive away.
If you don’t self cater, it’s not close to Simon’s Town and you will need a car. The apartment is perched on the top of a hill...
If you’re looking for a great place from which to explore western cape and cape peninsula, this is a very good option.
I stayed here for four nights at the beginning of December to visit family. It was really convenient for me to visit Fish Hoek, and there is now a new shopping centre just down the hill with a variety of shops and restaurants. My room was spotless and has a braai as well as a kitchen with grill/microwave. As the property is located up the hill there is a nice view and you are unlikely to be bothered by 'casual visitors' although it is always a good idea to keep windows and doors locked. A nice touch was the tea and coffee as well as a starter of UHT milk when you arrive.
I would definitely stay again!
