A beautiful cottage venue indeed. Very friendly and accommodating staff. A place to visit regularly to relax, unwind and to just get away from the hustle and demands of life. Each cottage is clean, unique and beautifully decorated. Our family enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, scenic walks to the nearby town. Eastbury is definitely a place to visit regularly as each of our visits there have been unique and special with staying in the different room options. We will definitely return for another visit at Eastbury Cottage as 2 nights felt way too short. Thank you to Jenny, Denise, Craig for a lovely stay..
Eastbury Cottage is absolutely gorgeous, much in keeping with charming Hermanus. The booking was easy to make and Denise was extremely welcoming, following all the protocols for Covid-19 travel. The room was perfect - very comfortable bed, lovely decor, small kitchen, and the best part - a fireplace in the bedroom stocked up with wood. It was difficult to leave this lovely room and we could have happily stayed longer. The grounds are also lovely, with flowers and plants, easy access in and out, and all the sites in Hermanus close by. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed our short stay over at Eastbury Cottage very much! Craig and his mother Jenny were very kind and helpful. The Rose Room was very clean and comfortable! We arrived in the evening and had to phone for directions, which Jenny very kindly gave us.
Denise is a wonderful person full of kindness and always ready to assist in every possible way. We had a great time, despite the bad weather conditions. A very cosy and friendly room. We hope to have the chance to visit the place again. Highly recommend it especially for families.
Denise was a very good communicator and really went the extra mile. Before booking I had asked if the daybed would be comfortable comfy/supportive enough for our 6’3” teenage son. When we arrived, unbeknownst to us, she had brought in a different single bed and rearranged the room!
Although we didn’t use The heated blankets on our beds, we did turn the fire on for a short period – not what we were expecting in South Africa!
Thank you
