Hi. Checking to see if you have a luxury room available with 2 beds, and how easy it is to get from the Guesthouse to the K. Gardens, Robben Island, the penguin colony, etc....

The guesthouse is located in a very good spot of cape town and nearby the melting pots (and very good restaurants). The staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave a lot of excellent tips were to go and what to visit. Only minus was the cockroaches in the room.

The B+B guesthouse is very quietly but centrally located. Parking is available in front of the house. The chosen elephant room offers plenty of space in a charming african setting. The plentyfull breakfast is either served on the patio or in the charming garden. The owner joins his guest every morning for breakfast to review the previous day and to give advise on possible excursions for the day. He is also very knowledgable on local restaurants and sightseeing. The service staff as well as the night watchman is very friendly and always helpful. Over all an excellent guesthouse and a very memorable experience!

Recently returned from Cape Town and wish we could have stayed longer. Chief among the reasons why our holiday was so pleasant was because of Jardin d'Ebene and Roland's staff (Noah and Chris).
Our flight was delayed 5 hours from Amsterdam and we arrived in Cape Town at 3:30AM yet Roland was still there to greet us on arrival.
The guest house is on a safe, quiet street near Kloof St and easily walkable to Long St, Bree St, and Bo Kaap. A very short Uber or taxi ride to V&A and Table Mountain.
We stayed in the Elephant Room and it was spacious and luxurious. The mattress was a little too firm for my liking but I still slept well. The in-room tub and shower could benefit from a curtain as it was somewhat chilly in the evenings during our visit. But these were the only things that could be improved.
The breakfast was delicious, quite possibly the best croissants I've had. Chris and Noah were very helpful and accommodating. Roland provided a lot of great suggestions and recommendations including restaurants, activities, and the best time to visit Table Mountain.
When we return to Cape Town, Jardin will most certainly be our home away from home.

I recently stayed in this wonderful guest house while in Cape Town for a wedding. I can honestly say the staff at Jardin d'Ebene are some of the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered. I was completely taken care of the entire week I was there. I stayed in the Zebra room which was lovely, the room and bathroom were very large and everything was very clean. Even with the summer weather I didn't turn the AC on and with the windows open I didn't have any bugs.
I asked to hold a small cocktail reception in the garden and pool area (for 20 people) and it was so unbelievably easy because they handled everything for me. The staff took care of all the ordering, staffed the event and did the complete set-up and tear-down. After the party every attendee said wonderful things about the guesthouse, my room, the staff and the party.
It is quiet but within easy walking distance of plenty of cute bars and restaurants. The owner and staff made my spa reservations and dinner reservations, ironed my clothes upon arrival and accommodated my request for down alternative pillows. They provided plenty of good options for what to do, where to eat and areas to avoid at night. I seriously can not say enough nice things about the people who work at this guesthouse. It was a perfect stay!

Stayed for 4 nights. Great guest house. Friendly, great room, lovely breakfast and good host. Really perfect in every way, we stayed in the elephant room, really spacious and staff friendly and helpful. Location is ideal for all main attractions and great food options on kloof street. Could not ask for a better welcome to Cape Town.

Dear Cheryl,
our Buffalo Luxury Room has a twin bed facility, all other rooms have double beds - Queen Size Extra Length in our Standard Rooms and King Size Extra Length in the Luxury Rooms. If you want to book please send a mail to us with the booking dates and we make a plan that the Twin Room is available.
We are very centrally located in Cape Town - the city centre is easy reachable by foot, we also arrange tours for you if you do not have an own car. Kirstenbosch Gardens is about a 20 to 30 minutes drive away, but you can reach it for example with the Hop On/Hop Off bus - a very convenient way to explore the city. The Robben Island Ferry is just a 10 minutes drive away - if you want to take a taxi it will cost you approx. 50 - 60 Rand per trip to the V&A Waterfront.
If you want to see the penguin colony it makes sense to combine it with the Tour to the Cape of Good Hope - you could do it on a half day tour, but I always recommend a full day tour, which we also could arrange you. You will be picked up at the guesthouse and when you come back they return you to the guesthouse, or to any other place in the city...
We have plenty of VERY good restaurants within walking distance from our guesthouse (5 to 10 minutes) and it is safe to walk there even at night.
We also have a MyCiti Bus Stop nearby if you want to use public transport to travel in the city.
It's not easy to mention all possibilities you have in a short message - if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
Thanks and have a great day,
Roland
