Nice Little Hotel (6 rooms) in a quiet area. Easy to walk to the beach and Restaurants. Perfect and clean rooms, very nice little pool and a good breakfest with omelette and fersh tasty fruits. Very nice and helpfull staff.
There are many good things about this place; an easy walk into Camps Bay; near but far enough away to be peaceful; large rooms and well looked after; great balcony outside the shared lounge for evening drinks; helpful staff; great breakfast. What lets it down is the pool - it's got a sort of painted grey liner which makes it look dirty and uninviting and yes, the adjoining plot they're building and it's near the fence line so it impacts on the view - which is a huge shame. If you can accept that, and focus on comfort and location, this will work for you.
We had a wonderful stay, everything was just right. The vibe and the relaxed atmosphere, it was a gem. The pool terrace and the great breakfasts were definite highlights. The bedroom was very comfortable and spacious. We would definitely recommend it for all the above reasons, and last but not least, the staff were excellent, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
We stayed here for 8 nights, probably longer than most people do so we found the breakfast got a bit boring. The place is very comfortable, rooms large with plenty of storage and bathroom was huge. The run an honesty bar system in the lounge which is a nice touch and convenient. We didn't use the pool as it just didn't look very inviting, it really needs some maintenance and cleaning, but that was our only negative. The ladies that run it were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We did find it quite pricey for the standard but maybe that was because the exchange rate went against us.
What a lovely place. Beautifully situated. Lovely Pool area. Nice and quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was outstanding. Easy walk down to the Beach and to Restaurants. We stayed there for five nights and would have loved to stay longer. All in all, a great experience! Hope to come back next year.
