My Wife,2 year old Son and I visited in the winter. We had a great time, room was nice, hosts were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was great, no yogurt and granola bar here, full breakfast and good! Definitely a place I would recommend and we will be back for sure.

We love Greer Peaks Lodge! The location is about 25 minutes past Sunrise Ski Resort, so you're going in the opposite direction of traffic to and from skiing! The Lodge is at the end of Greer and is located on top of a hill, so there are great views! My 15 year old sone and I spent 3 nights and loved it. Breakfast is included daily and it is a FEAST! Really good food and lots of choices, so we were stuffed every morning. The rooms are spacious and each has a microwave and fridge. The suites have fireplaces and are quite charming. My son took advantage of the hot tub and fitness center and we also watched the free DVD's. The managers are friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. They suggested restaurants for us that we really liked. This would be a great place for a wedding, family reunion or group. We plan to go back next year, but wish is was next month. This is my "go to" choice for lodging in the White Mountains. (We've also been in the summer and it's beautiful...and cool!)

We arrived the day after Labor Day and the summer crowds were gone, in fact we were the only guests at the lodge during our entire stay (we left before the weekend). We were still provided a lovely hot breakfast buffet that changed up a little each day: Pancakes and scrambled eggs, cold cereal coffee and milk available daily; bacon two days, sausage on another, daily bread varied English muffins, chocolate muffins, bagels, yogurt, juice or fruit. This is casual paper plates etc, but the food was nice and welcome. A lovely main room with fireplace, television, checker/chessboard and comfy seating, also adjacent game room for cards or board games plus a small bar available. Games, books and puzzles may be borrowed for in-room use too. Nice multilevel decks with hot tub and patio tables. Great place to drink morning coffee, read or watch the stars at night. The basement game room was like a vintage rumpus room at Grandma's, ping pong, a pool table and the old living room set that had seen better days, but so had my pool skills, two arcade-style video games and a video game system. Old fashioned make your own fun. The quiet and views were absolutely amazing. The lodge was a short walk to various hiking trails along the Little Colorado River (a creek to anyone but a westerner) or into town. We enjoyed our stay immensely and are busy planning a return visit.

We just welcomed in 2018 at the Greer Peak Lodge and it was wonderful.

We have been coming to Greer for years and this is our favorite B&B due to their hospitality

Husband and wife owners Ryan and Amy treated us like extended family for our 4 night stay. They reside in the main building with their young children and were available for any questions from the front desk or the front desk phone.

Breakfast was very nice and if you have special needs or requests they seemed very accommodating. One evening we were all exhausted from a busy day and the owners served us a yummy hot pizza which really hit the spot.

After the pizza we hit the hot tub followed by the sauna. There's nothing like a nice soak in a hot tub in freezing temps under the stars followed by a sauna to ease the aches of a long day of play. After 1 night of this routine we were hooked and continued the ritual each night of our stay.

On the lower level they have a game room as well as an exercise room which we enjoyed too.

TIP - If you have a small group ask them about the deer/elk special as we spotted 20 deer and upwards of 40 elk on a wild ride we'll always treasure.

We spent two October nights at Greer Peaks Lodge and enjoyed nearly everything. Our king room was well-appointed and comfortable with the exception of there being no place to sit and watch movies--other than from bed, which isn't our style. (We noted that other rooms had arm chairs, but ours did not.) Our room had a TV with DVD player, which we enjoyed using. The lodge has an extensive collection of movies to view. There was a coffee pot, microwave, and mini-fridge.

The lodge's setting was peaceful and we enjoyed walking out the lodge door to begin our daily hikes--to the river or up the mountain.

The continental breakfast was adequate--granola, raisin bread, yogurt, and make-your-own waffles. Juice would have been a welcome addition.

The manager lives offsite but was available by way of a phone call. The bar was closed during our stay, but we were told to call if we wanted beer or wine and he would come and serve us. We didn't

The lodge has several levels and the multi-layered decks and large lobby area were inviting. The exercise room has several different machines to provide a well-rounded workout, but we preferred just being outdoors. There is a game room, board games to use, and a small meeting room. We didn't try the hot tub and sauna, but they looked inviting.

We are considering making this the location for our next family reunion.
