Little oasis next to the airport
Really enjoyed the garden and nicely maintained rooms. Unpretentious family feel. Stayed on arrival and when we left. Friendly staff! The murals in every room are different, paintings everywhere that blend in with the flowers. Breakfast is basic but all you need.

I was scheduled to stay at this facility on 11/28-12/02 I canceled 2 weeks prior. Hotel claim they were never notified and mark me “No Show” and that fee would be waived. They still placed a hold on my card of $403 on 11/28. I reached out to Booking.com and they contacted the manager who stated she was not releasing or refunding the money. I then call spoke the the very rude, ignorant manager who stated they waited 4 days for me to come because they were worry something happen, so they kept the room open and charged me. Even though I never showed after 4 days. If you were so concerned why didn’t you reach out to reach me after the the 1st day.Bull 4 days later my bank released the pending charges back to my account. Today the hotel stole money from my account of another charge of $391. This place is a fraud and the manager is very rude & ignorant. I wish there was a way to attached the screenshot the was sent to me stating my “ cancellation was free” . This place is dishonest DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD

Good first night stop
we stayed one night after flight from UK. Easy to find from car rental pick up and not too far after a long journey. Room was clean and comfortable and staff welcoming. Gardens and pool lovely and breakfast was good.

Comfortable, spacious room on beautiful property
Friendly, accommodating service from the beginning to the conclusion of our stay. The room had a private patio to sit and enjoy the attractive landscaping. Quiet location with a hearty breakfast included. Parking inside a locked, gated area and a great restaurant within walking distance.

Perfect hotel before/after flights
My family of 5 had a lovely overnight stay here after a long flight from the UK. We stayed in one of their family suites and it was really comfortable for us. We spent the next morning exploring the beautiful grounds and swimming in the lovely pool. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The transfer from the airport was waiting for us even though our flight was delayed by several hours. Drivers were really friendly and helpful. All the staff at La Rosa were so welcoming and helpful. We felt that this really was the perfect place for us to begin our trip to Costa Rica and would recommend it to any families arriving at SJO.

We are looking to book the family suite for a family of four. The most important thing for us is to have two sepearte rooms for sleeping. The kids in one room(Bunk Bed is fine) and the adults in the other. Can you please confirm that your family suite can have this arrangement. In all the pics i see all the beds are in one room. Thank you

At the check-in we were given unit No. S-1 even though we were only two people. This unit has a large room divided into two bed rooms with only a partial wall and an open space ( between the two rooms). There is no door between the two bedrooms for any privacy. Specifically, as you enter this unit, there is a single bed on your right, a bunk bed on your left, two chairs for sitting and an old type box TV. In the second room, adjacent to the bathroom & a small walk in closet, there is a comfortable & cozy bed for two but has no TV. Management could not move the TV for us in our bed room because the TV cable was short. Also there was is no A/C in this unit. Hope this information is helpful.
