The place is cute and made with love, and the staff is really nice. Sitting at the evening in front of the bungalow with a beer is fantastic.
BUT when we entered the room it was smelling and feeling really moldy. We had to open all windows to ventilate every time we got there, because we could not leave the windows open as they don't have mosquito net. After three days there all our clothes where smelly.
The door (in room 5) doesn't fits the frame, so the bugs can enter freely. We had our bagpacks infested by ants every day.
The mattress was as hard as the floor.
A cute little hotel right in the heart of Pai. The location is what makes this place so stellar, a 3 minute walk to the night market and the centre of Pai. Quiet, clean, comfortable, affordable, with friendly desk staff and nice grounds, and with each room in a separate little cottage.
Also free tea/coffee every morning and the owners have a really nice dog!
Last visited was 2014and this year we were stayed in the same room again (pink house). The bathroom door was hard to close and the door had a crack line can see through from outside.None of the staffs spoke english, so i had to body language to required some hangers.Nice garden with lots of planting, happy to see the papaya tree growed higher and higher. The price was considered cheap and just 5 minutes walk to walking street.
The room was a good size and the bed was comfy. The shower room was damp and the shower was average and we had a few problems with bugs in the room. The guesthouse is in a good location to walking street.
Booking triple room with air-con, it's within 5min walking distance to Pai walking street, maybe it's due to low season, the room we booked have some smell when check in, after switch on the air-con, the smell is gone. There's mosquito inside the room. Packed shampoo, soap and hair dryer provided. Staff is friendly, some can understand/talk English.
