This is the only one hotel to stay in Girnar taleti. Staff is very cooperative and rooms are well maintained. Food in restaurant is also tasty. Room service is also good. But only one problem I have observed that there are so many bees/flies in restaurant. Allover it's good place to stay very near to bhavnath mahadev temple.
Nice hotel at base of Girnar mountain. Girnar base is about 500 mts. from the hotel. Hotel is undergoing renovation. Room which I stayed was small but clean and fitted with a/c.
Bathroom was not up to the mark and requires urgent attention.
Food was good.
Hotel offers 24 hrs. running hot water, a must for people who starts early morning climb of Girnar.
I heard from fellow travellers that hotel offers tea during early hrs. of the day.... They had it at 03:00 am.
Overall pleasant short stay during my visit to Dattatreya temple on the Girnar peak.
We visited Junagadh principally to climb the holy mountain of Girnarji, revered by the Jains as the spot where the 22nd Tirthankar, Neminatha left his mortal coil and attained nirvana. I've reviewed that separately. Now, I normally never give negative reviews. However, I have to give some feedback here. We had a lackluster experience at hotel Bhagyoday - the wait staff is very slow (at the restaurant downstairs) and the food's insipid. The man in charge at the reception seemed concerned only with making money and I had seen him having a fight with another party over a bill related issue. The rooms are not clean, spotted bed-sheets, etc. The reception area looks nice but that's it. Also, they don't have a spot to park your car - what they've done is co-opted an open ground behind the hotel which is a shared space with buses of the nearby school. This would work if you are in a hired car but if you have a self drive car, you'd be worried sick as we were parking in an open ground with large buses kicking about dust with the odd chance that the driver might not see your car or even you!
I normally take at-least one photo of my room but in this case I felt so disappointed that I have none. My advise to fellow travelers is to either stay in Junagadh and brave an early morning drive (say leave at 4:30 am to arrive at the base of the hill in about 20 minutes) or find a dharamshala and book in advance.
If there is a bright spot and a reason to stay here, it is Girnarji itself - and for that reason we stayed here two nights without complaining (I was too tired after a stiff 8 hour climb, having started 5 am and returning around 1 pm, to start driving immediately).
in a town like Junagadh, specially when you have gone there to Visit the world famous Festival of Maha-Shivratri along with friends, the only better option near the Bhavnaath hill-base is Bhagyoday. We were Allotted a neat 2 room place facing the Girnar mountain.
The Hotel staff almost everywhere in whole India is from Nepal, this one is no exception. One of the Owner called Mr. Mehul Joshipura is a very decent man & helpful in guiding us.
OK food, OK service & yet to develope town+tourist spot. You can't expect more. A decent experience.
I would recommend it to anyone & stay if I go there again.
Very bad hotel.
There is only one staff that speaks English, and it's not professional proficient.
They made me fill in all the details that they should have filled in themselves at reception.
They promised Internet connection, but was not working.
The worst thing was that they provided my room number to a taxi driver and allowed him to come upstairs. I was shocked when I opened the door and saw that guy that I met the previous night and I didn't have to do anything with.
Very terrible experience.
