Hotel is a 10 minute walk to the old town, in a seperate area has a nice parking. Room was quite nice with balcony, seaview and view to old korcula town. Decent bed and a bit small bathroom and a not very good shower. Has a small pool but beach area is very close which is not bad, even if access to sea is not simple, close by is beach where it is easy to access the sea. Pool bar is very expensive and not realy special. Breakfast is not best, coffea was horrible and the orange jiuce was orange coloured water just undrinkable, no idea why a 4 star hotel would offer this. Due covid was a bit messy the whole breakfast, some parts are good like fruits but was too little so was more empty then full. I would have expected a better breakfast and better service as it seemed there were not enough waiters. Friendly reception.

We had a room with a view of Korcula Town. The room was comfortable and clean. Food was Ok but there are better options in town. I never used the pool, and wish they had towel service and more chairs out by the water. Overall we would stay here again because staff was friendly, it was an easy 10 min nice walk into town and the room was great.

We have just come back from a week's holiday in The Hotel Liburna. We had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the park/gardens at the back of the hotel. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we really had a good time. There was no kettle to make tea but the man on the front desk provided one for us immediately when I asked him about it. The restaurant had a good range of food for breakfast and dinner and the waiting staff were also friendly. The location of this hotel is absolutely magnificient and we really recommend hiring electric bikes so you can see lots of the surrounding area. The sea is clear and blue and good for snorkelling but it's important to take swimming shoes because the beaches are often rocky or pebbly. The hotel has a great sea water swimming pool which is good if you don't fancy braving the rocky beaches and the hotel provides pool towels. We generally preferred to go down to the sea because the views are better from the water's edge. We had a great holiday and would definitely love to go back again.

Very smart, high quality hotel. Friendly staff. Exceptional food, buffet style with a wide juice. Al fresco dining with magnificent view across harbour to old town.
I would not advise taking children as the sea water pool is 1.5m deep all over.
Beware that sun loungers by the sea are charged at 40 Ku per person per day, those by the pool are free but not very comfortable. Reception have some padded mats for free

Lovely clean room with a terrific view over the sea towards the Old Town. The view from the breakfast / dining room was spectacular too. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was kept spotlessly clean during our week long stay. The main areas of the hotel are kept very clean and the bathroom / shower were excellent. Make sure to book a room with a sea view as some rooms overlook the car park.
The swimming pool is like a big round tub that is the same depth everywhere and the only way in is to climb down the metal ladder and those steps are quite slippery. Not at all suitable for children. Although the location is within a 10 minute walk of the Old Town (and that is excellent) - it is quite poorly lit for walking back at night. Having said that we had no problems.

Questions & answers about the pool

Answer from Catherine M

Sorry, only just seen this. When we were there in May, the pool was drained and cleaned. No problem after that though. We managed to change the room given at first so it wasn't over-booked. I suppose it depends whether you go in the busy season. I hope that helps.
