Just return and had a fab time. The hotel is great and ideal as a base to sleep, shower and cook in, I was visiting friends, so didn't spend much time there, found the stay overall great, good size room (although was in need of bit of repair, bathroom sink cracked, wires hanging about lol),TV, cooking/kitchenette ideal for basic meals, bed comfy, however my only slight disappointment was the cleaning, it was "cleaned" daily, fresh towels etc, however the cleaning was not great, that's not me being picky, it was very very basic cleaning and not done very well at all, toilets floors not well cleaned at all. So if you do like a cleaned room, I wouldn't recommend. Can't comment on the pool, or food as I didn't use or eat at the hotel. I can say, that when I asked for a blanket and extra crockery, my table fixed, they did it within ten minutes and anything I asked about they were very helpful! Safe boxes always maned by reception and air com - fab! Overall it suited my needs for a base for sleeping etc but I would not recommend if your lookin for anything other than that in terms of atmosphere and vibe.

To start the staff was amazing. The food was great. We ate here a good few times breakfast lunch and dinner proper English breakfast.sol the barman/cook did amazing S the barman with his card tricks had us amazed and laughing all the time Dave on reception such a lovely guy.boss man nice too
Now for the bad points rooms are old and dated let's just say not the best the rooms at the back of hotel are right on top of the neighboring hotels you can see right into there rooms and same for them.pool area is so small beds on top of pool not many sunbeds.every night when we went down for dinner they would have music on but once the English soaps started the music would stop and TV put on every night all guests would be glued to TV. my wife and i would play table games at this point and everyone would turn to us like we were lepers we didn't mind we thought it was funny so we did it more.it was like gods waiting room.the hotel is a ten minute walk to the harbour just found it hard to find eateries in local area.all in all would not recommend this hotel if your under 60 and don't like soaps when eating

Me and my husband stayed her for a week in October. We arrived early morning but the night receptionist helped us with our bags and directed us to our room. We had an issue with the shower but they moved us to a new room which was fantastic

The staff cannot do enough for you they literally work all the hours under the sun to make sure your holiday is the best.

The rooms are big and cleaned everyday beds really comfy and unlimited hot water. I did have to be up early most mornings to get a bed but this has been the same on every holiday I have been on.

It's a short walk to most things or you can get the bus at the end of the road upto were the main restaurants are at blue port. If you just ask the driver he shouts it out for you so your stop is not missed. It's only 3.25 Lev each so nothing to get close to the action.

I have already booked to return and looking forward to every moment again.

We had a lovely time at the Ozturk. We were in room 409 which is one of the attic rooms. These have 2 balconies and a second bed in the living area. The room had everything we needed including a hot n powerful shower, kettle and fridge. There are plenty of cooking utensils but we did not really need these. The bed was comfy and the cleaner kept the room clean with new towels when we needed them.

The staff were lovely - really helpful and friendly. The food was nice too and very reasonable price wise. The drinks were cold and large which is just what we wanted.

There is a bookshelf with books and magazines for lazy days by the pool, and left over sun creams from previous guests which was helpful for me when it was hotter than expected.

The location was fab! A very short walk to the centre of Marmaris / beach where there are loads of bars n restaurants, very near 2 supermarkets, close to the dolmus bus route and also to an amazing bakery where the baklava is to die for.

I highly recommend the Ozturk to anyone and hope to return next year

Yes actually I do, sorry for the delay. Email, info @ ozturkapart . com OMIT ALL THE SPACES ASIT WONT ALLOW ME TO POST EMAIL ADDRESS What I would say is the 2 other answers are not 100% correct, and yes bother going as we all have a different opinion so make your own, I don't think you'll be disappointed. We are thinking of returning ourselves this year as it was so hard to beat (and that's something we ever do, return). When we visited we were woken by roosters at silly o'clock time yes, but every holiday this happens to us at most foreign countries keep them (although I hate the little buggers but it is what it is) and yes the back rooms do have views of another hotel so yes its not particularly nice, so try for a front room as they are much better, the staff, rooms and cleanliness makes up for it and I'm very OCD and clean but these rooms were great! The front rooms look over the pool and a very quiet road NOT busy and opposite the hotel is a yard I think that stores boats or something but this did not bother us at all and never saw anyone there in our 2 weeks. There is no entertainment but is apartments not a resort... jeees what do people expect they have like 40 rooms?? Its approx a 15 minute nice walk into the centre of Marmaris, 5 minutes from the musical fountain, but there's a small super market 6 shops along and a couple of restaurants just as close then a larger supermarket 5 minute walk away. One of the restaurants that's really close we ate in several times as it was amazing ...that's not something we normally do but quality, portions and price was hard to beat elsewhere and we ate in many. I've been to Marmaris once before and hated it but this trip was so cheap we booked it and it was amazing, we were hardly in the apartment and didn't spend a lot there so thought they wouldn't be ok with us, but they didn't care, and were all amazing to us even though we only spent maybe £20 for the duration of our holiday on food and drink at the hotel in total, as we were always out. Shame I cant remember the restaurants name to tell you to visit as it was so cheap, tradition Turkish food NOT English!! Anyway i'll try to explain where it is.... come out the front entrance of hotel turn left and walk down to the main road, cross over the main road where you can and walk maybe a few yards to your right and its just there, they have seating outside... be warned the salad is huge and sooooo tasty. Also there is an amazing beach a bus ride away its called Incekum, you get the bus at the bottom on the hotel road (where the toilets are) it only runs certain times so you have to check the board for timetables there and back....don't miss the last bus!!!! DO go it has crystal clear waters and white sand and takes roughly 45 min's to get there but well worth it, all the boat trips go there so you can imagine its beauty, its in a national park kind'a thing so you pay to enter and get a tractor to the beach area... promise you'll visit its beautiful and so quiet there... I think in total for the bus, entry and sunbed charge is about 20 lira each but I could be wrong about that. Everyone we told about it was blown away, visiting is a must!! Fantastic romantic memories Anyway hope this helps and enjoy!! :)

There is quite a few stairs from street to hotel entrance , it also has a ramp next to stairs but it is quite steep BUT the ground floor rooms wouldn't be a problem. If you go on Facebook and search for ozturk apart marmaris , address you question to Mehmet ikiz , hope this helps

As far as I am aware all of the apartments have been refurbished back in 2014. Stayed there in 2015 in apartment which was of a high standard very modern and clean. The whole complex is managed to a high and professional level.
