the hotel is perfectly located at the wrst of Surabaya and especially for this Westin Hotel is located at the upper floor of building

if you have a room with city view, than iy will be magnificent

great restaurant, Magnolia, which served many delicious dishes, either dinner or breakfast

the staffs are awesome!!!
very kind and helpful, especially Mr Gavin Halim who has assisted many things for us

would love to visit again, and again, and again

please maintain this level of services, then you'll achieve greatness

and one more thing, thanks for a little birthday surpise for me
love it!!!

The Westin Surabaya is a hotel like no other in Surabaya.

From check-in until when you leave the hotel, you'll be showered with hospitality from all staff of the hotel. I had a great stay here as a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, They have good status recognition, great hospitality, great breakfast, and the room is clean, neat and emphasize on well-being just like how Westin brand supposed to be.

The hotel is also putting good Covid-19 prevention measures like social distancing and putting disinfectants all over the place.
I would especially praise Jennifer, Tania in the front desk. Udin as the complex loyalty manager. Jane in the sky lounge, Yvonne and all the breakfast crew for elevating the stay from good to great.

I would recommend this hotel for everyone who wishes to experience luxury and hospitable stay in Surabaya. The Westin Surabaya truly put a new standard of luxury and wellbeing in Surabaya.

We stayed at the brand-new Westin for 5 nights and booked using Marriott Bonvoy Points. Thanks to my Gold status, we were upgraded into an Executive Suite and the FO-team even added club benefits, which are usually not part of the upgrade. The suite was fantastic, very spacious and located in the corner of the building with huge panoramic windows in the bedroom and living room. Tasteful, modern interior design with decent fresh colors and of course the super-comfy Heavenly Bed will let you sleep like a baby. The suite was always properly cleaned and disinfected and the housekeeping team added a nice personal touch every day by leaving some nice hand-written notes and sweet surprises.
I had the chance to see also the “regular” Deluxe Rooms, which are smaller, but of equal high standard and certainly worth to stay in as well.
The F&B quality is excellent and the whole team provides an extremely attentive and professional service. There was a roast-beef carving station on the first morning of our stay and when I asked 2 days later if this will be offered again, Pak Rudy at Magnolia Restaurant advised that the breakfast will be a la carte for the other days due to low hotel occupancy. The roast-beef is not part of the a la carte breakfast menu, but Rudy noted our wish and in the next morning we were served another delicious portion of roast beef with sides as per our choice at no extra cost. What an incredible service!
The service in general is what makes the hotel really outstanding. Literally everyone in the hotel knew our names, from the bellboys, to the FO and restaurant staffs.
The Sky Lounge offers stunning views over West-Surabaya and the team there really went above and beyond every day during our visit. Huge thanks to Sylvi, Anin and their other colleagues for treating us truly like a Royal! The club benefits include a selection of drinks and sweet + savory snacks from 5.30 - 7.30pm and it was an absolute pleasure being served by this extraordinary attentive and friendly team at the Sky Lounge.
The hotel sits right on top of Pakuwon Mall, which can be accessed right from the welcome lobby and offers endless shopping and dining options.
I have been waiting for the opening of The Westin Surabaya for quite a while, but it definitely was worth the wait. It is by far the best hotel I visited in Surabaya and I even would go as far as saying it is the best city hotel I have ever experienced in Indonesia.
Can’t wait to be back there soon again!

Spent new year with family in this new 5 stars westin surabaya. Impressed with services. Well known westin wellness meets with art in the whole corner of hotel. From borobudur sculpture of indonesian artist nyoman nuarta, welcome lobby with infinity art from ivan navarro, beautifully fish chandeliers swim in the welcome lobby. Magnolia restaurant, one of kind in surabaya with surabaya city view located in the check in lobby .. and of course, chill out lounge called sky lounge. Love this hotel concept and staffs.. additional port folio for Marriott international and pride of surabaya city.
Room is spacious and well designed. I will come back again soon to this hotel.
I don't mind spent with more little higher rate compare with other 5 stars in the city. It's worth it...
