We came up for a baseball tournament and got a block of rooms for the team. The one draw back was that we were scattered all around the hotel. The pool area was super small and humid. Though the outside patio just off the pool was very nice. Breakfast was as expected and had a good variety. Parking wasn’t an issue and it’s super convenient to shopping, restaurants, and I95.

The hotel is much better than expected. The inner decoration is really good. And I think they upgrade my room to a suite! I am just a silver member. They have gyms, pools and Fairfield breakfast. However, there is no free bottle water.

We were looking for a convenient place to stay on our return from a vacation to Bar Harbor Maine and chose the Fairfield Inn & Suites hotel in Augusta. We have stayed at a few Fairfield Inns and have been satisfied each time. We stayed on a Friday night.
One of the first things we noticed was this hotel was well situated to Route 95, the highway we were travelling on. Check-in was quick and our room was ready early. There was plenty of parking at this hotel and we were able to park in the front of the hotel and eventually in front of our room on the ground floor. Once checked in we were able to learn that there were many places to eat close to the hotel, either in nearby malls or within view of the hotel itself. There was also coffee and tea available free around the clock.
We found the staff to be very efficient and friendly. They had answers to all our questions and did it with a smile. When we pointed out that there was no more hot water for tea, they quickly brought more and thanked us for letting them know about the issue.
A complimentary breakfast was provided with our stay. This is one of the things we enjoy about Fairfield Inns, as you can eat breakfast, pack up and go on your way, rather than having to get up, leave the hotel and then find somewhere else to eat. For us the breakfast was great. They had plenty to choose from and there was adequate seating for the guests taking advantage of the breakfast.
Our room was nice, with two double beds and a refrigerator. There was also a nice television and complimentary internet service which we made use of. The bathroom was also very nice and spacious.
The hotel also has a small pool and an exercise room which we did not use. The pool is not long enough for lap swimming but would be good for a refreshing dip and for families with children to use for cooling off or playing in.
All in all the Fairfield Inn & Suites Augusta provided everything we were looking for. We will most likely stay there again the next time we are in the area and will recommend this hotel to friends if they plan to be in that area.
