We arrived at 9pm on a winter night to find the room on the 9th floor and the even the second option on the 2nd floor absolutely freezing. Hotel is barely a 2 star. It smells and it's old. But the cold above all was unbearable. We asked for the refund as we had paid as requested the moment u come in and got the refund we immediately found a brilliant fantastic hotel nearby... Go straight to a Metro Hotel that will welcome u and for only few more euros u will feel like you are in a real 4 star hotel. By the way we paid for a 4 bed room and got a triple!!! Someone should sue this guys. How Don t know how they get an 8 on booking. Surely a scam
Best priced room we found for 4 in the center of Tirana (you know how difficult is to get a family room in the center for 4 people) the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and beds comfortable, ac worked great, hot water as well. Breakfast was simple but filling, you have all you need. The cleaning team was very nice and hardworking. The manager is very helpful and easygoing person. Overall great value for money in the center of the city.
Nice place secreted behind the main thoroughfare but well signed. Only a few minutes walk to the main square. Spacious room with usual facilities and a perfectly adequate breakfast with the option of outside terrace.
We only stayed 1 night. I think they may be currently upgrading their rooms however ours was not. It was a very small double with a tiny bathroom. No shower curtain or door and I couldn't leave my clothes in there as everything got wet. Amenities - soap. The room was clean. Breakfast was European and fine with a couple of hot dishes. Issue with reception. Notice in room advising not to drink water. Enquired at reception did they have some water. His response was - go and buy some if you want water pointing to the street. At breakfast next morning there is a water cooler. I don't understand why he didn't help us.. Hotel has a lift.
We went there last September. My girlfriend found it on Booking and liked it since it was also offering Spa and Breakfast. The location was also good since it is only 3 minutes walking from Skanderbeg Square.
We didnt book in order to avoid any commisions. We arrived there at 20:00 and a impolite lady was at the reception. Not only she didnt do any disscount eventhough we were there late and there was normally no chance for the room to be sold at that hour of the night, but also she tried to trap us telling us a price even more expensive than the price shown at booking.com. after a few attempts we agreed on 40Euros per night breakfast included. We couldnt use the spa cuz it was with payment.
We went at the room and the window blinds were closed. We didnt open them to see the balcony since we were to tired and we fell to sleep. The next morning we wake up from sounds and noises and I open the blinds to see that the whole building was being reconstructed or painted or whatever and not only no one told us,not only it was noisy as hell, the worst part is that the construction skeleton gave almost everyone the access to our balcony. this was maybe the reason the blinds were closed and also the reason no one told us there were works.
the breakfast was awful. the omelette was just egg sailing in oil.cheap untasty butter and jam and the bread strong.
we went to check out and i ask the lady any explanation why no one had informed us on works at the hotel. im still waiting for the answer though after 6 months. i also waited nearly 10 minutes to get the bill (the official albanian taxed bill) cuz aparently they didnt want to give it to us,at least not that one called (taxed coupon).they wanted to give me a handwritten thing.
end of the story
dont visit it. awful experience. awful staff. thiefs
