I came to Ho Chi Minh City just before Christmas 2019 and stayed until Mid March 2020. My entire stay at the hotel was flawless from check in to check out. The hotel is in District 1 and its located about 30 min from the airport. When using a metered cab it will cost you about 150000 dong.

Its a lovely hotel with a beautiful entrance and superbly maintained. Upon arrival I was checked in quickly and headed to my room. The bell desk was kind enough to help get my heavy bags and assist a very tired traveler to their room. I had a king bed room that overlooked the pool area. Nice room, very clean, and descent sized living space for me. I would eventually come to appreciate the quality of the room darkening curtains that also did a great job of keeping out some of the heat from the sun.

Each morning I would travel down to the Saigon Cafe for breakfast where I always had a great meal. There buffet had a well rounded selection of deliciousness. There was a variety of fresh fruit, Pho, Banh Mi, omelette, plus other asian and western style foods. There was a fresh juice bar and that was a daily favorite or mine. As much as I enjoyed the food, I enjoyed meeting the breakfast staff each day. Ms Thao, Ms. Thu, Ms Hang, Ms. Ha, Ms Loc, Mr Viet, and many more were so kind in greeting me each day and taking the time to speak with me when the opportunity presented itself. The team worked really hard each day and I want to share my appreciation for all they do. 88 days of great service and high quality food.

I also had several interactions with the front desk and Ms Mia was my shining star. If I needed my bill a certain way she handled it with ease and she made it look easy. I also had great help from Ms Nhu on occasion to help me keep my accounting in order. To their credit, after each visit to the front desk I never had a feeling I should go back and try to explain something again. Next to the front desk was the business center and the young lady who worked in there was very helpful with mailing out some documents to my counterpart in Hanoi. This was a huge help and I would be afraid I would mess it up.

I also enjoyed meeting the folks who worked the entrance to the hotel and the concierge desk. Initially I leaned on them quite a bit as I was leaning how to get around in HCMC. They made sure the taxi driver knew exactly where I needed to go and each time I was dropped off correctly. Thank you!!! I also enjoyed the kindness and conversation with Ms Nhu as she would inquire of my plans for the day or evening. Maybe make a recommendation or two. She was very kind and fun to talk to. The concierge desk was so helpful in finding some really nice places to eat and places to go for a haircut and how to locate the US Consulate.

Their fitness center is not bad. Treadmills, elliptical, recumbent bike, some machines, squat rack, and some dumbbells are the majority of items there. Each bathroom area does have a sauna which was nice. There is a good sized pool that you can swim some laps or you can lounge and watch everyone else workout! Again the staff was really good. They were constantly keeping things cleaned which was much appreciated after the Covid 19 really started to go crazy.

88 days and it was hard to leave as I had come to really enjoy meeting the staff and learning about them. They did such an amazing job of taking care of me for almost 3 months. They work so hard for the guests and I hope was able to let them know how much I appreciate all they do but if they don't here it is.. YOU ARE AMAZING!

Best Regards,

Mr Brocious.

To be honest, I have traveled to 15 countries but never have I ever received such a warm welcome and treatment in any hotel property!
I was pampered so much that I never felt like getting out of my room! 😅
Right from an in room check-in to wide variety of breakfast spread to a large luxurious pool to a bar at the 23rd floor with stunning views of the city this property has it all!
For me staying at the Sheraton Saigon was an excellent experience by itself!
This property is centrally located in district 1 which makes all the touristy spots accessible by foot.
You need any help with currency, booking tours, taxi services or any other kind of help they are always ready to serve you.
I can't urge you enough to stay at this property!
I'm sure you'll never regret!
Happy & Safe Travels everyone.

After a few independent hotels it’s nice to come back to a great chain. You know what you get and what you get is great service. Check in at the executive lounge was relaxing and calm. Then our room on the 16th floor had good views, a comfortable bed, powerful shower and trade mark toiletries. The lounge had a good selection of canapés and hot food in the evening and both Western and Eastern breakfast options. The pool is a slight let down in that it only captures the sun for a few hours in the morning which is a shame. The pool itself is a good size and even though I didn’t use it I did pop into the gym and it seemed adequate for a good workout. Centrally located with very polite and helpful staff.

Top class hotel, great service, very convenient. We got a suit on the 17th floor. The use of the lounge on the 5th floor is a treat! Buffet breakfast, cocktail with good array of foods from 5 to 8 pm, and coffee/tea/soda all day at the lounge were included. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool, a gym and a spa, all next to the lounge. This is where we will stay again when we come back to HCMC, Vietnam.

Whoever designed this hotel was on top of their game. From stylish rooms to amazing interior design in their restaurant. Top floor open bar provides incredible views of Ho Chi Minh at nighttime. Enjoyed the breakfast which provided anything to your liking. Staff was super friendly and eager to assist. Wish we had more time to enjoy the lovely pool and spa.

I forgot to mention, we were quoted aud $22/hour for room wifi, the reception then took my sons ipad and logged him on for the lobby, then when he got to room, he had wifi bars, so he ran downstairs in a panic and reception man said, "looks like you have been using it in your room so that is $22", my son had an anxiety attack came running to me saying sorry, but I went and sorted them out for threatening my child. That is when I met sad face manager who clearly was not sorry and said it was a language problem. .
