So I booked this hotel for a one night stay during my visit to Abuja for the NOG exhibition. It was a further away than expected but I cannot mark down for that as was my fault for not checking properly. I arrived to find a very nice, clean looking hotel and was quite pleased with my choice. However this was as good as it gets.
In short, the lock to open my room would only work with a card from a staff member, there were some flies in the hotel restaurant I had to swat away while eating, there was only one item from the dessert menu available, the wifi kept dropping connection, the waiter seemed to think that taking for ever to bring anything was good service, the complimentary water in my room had already been used and had toothpaste on the lid and the real biggy, there were ANTS CRAWING ALL OVER THE DESK IN MY ROOM AS WELL AS A COUPLE OF ANTS IN MY BED!!
I mentioned all of this at checkout and the solution was to offer me one bottle of water and tell me they will spray the room with chemicals to kill the ants before my next visit. As if I will ever go back!!
Room Tip: Pick a different hotel. If you must stay here, avoid room 02!!!!!
