Pros: Great location (in Feb . 2020) near Lake Ndutu. Really nice people - they went out of my way to help me find a lost item. The best tents I've ever seen - very much felt like a hotel room. Got T-Mobile service at the location!

Cons: it's takes some getting used to being in a tented camp. For example, need to ask the staff for hot water - one suggestion: do not leave the walkie-talkie on overnight without charging it, or else it may be difficult to contact the hot water team for a morning shower.

Excellent camp, great service and food with internet in each room. At night, staff can escort you otherwise, you do not go out after dark as you are truly with the animals. they packed our lunches for the safaris and they were good as well.

These lodges were more than expected, as a solo traveller I had a large room with three beds to choose from. A good sized amenities area. As a mobile camping accomodation it was great. Even down to the shower as it was from a bucket outside you only needed to call by two way radio and the water was there within minutes and hot enough for a good shower well run by the manager Hassan.

Great staff. Good food. A mobile camp that is better than many permanent camps. They gave us a huge two bedroom family suite that had a living room with real furniture including sofas. In tent power for charging phones, cameras etc. Human powered in tent hot shower was an interesting experience. A huge Giraffe came to the camp to eat next to the tent! ! You get a walkie-talkie to get any help from staff.

As part of a 10 days safari in Tanzania, organized by Gosheni Safari we visited Tarangire, Serengeti Central, Serengeti North and Ngorongoro Parks.

In Serengeti North (near the Mara River) we stayed at the Acacia Migration Camp

The tented camp was in scenic locations overlooking a great view of the park giving us the "Africa Experience". The service was impeccable, the rooms well appointed with comfortable beds, separate shower, bathtub and toilet. Every night just before dinner, the room was set up for the night (windows closed, bed prepared, …) And finally the food was plentiful and excellent, considering the remote location, with soup, meats, veggies, fruits and dessert, all locally prepared.

The staff was fantastic !! Very attentive to our needs, friendly and always ready to engage in a conversation. Because the tented camp are in the middle of wild animal territory, all personnel was very safety conscious and always ready and prompt in escorting us to our tent after dark (the sun goes down at around 6:30pm)

Lastly, a very nice touch and differentiation with Gosheni Safari AND Acacia Luxury Camp is lunch time (during the safari game drive). While all other safari tour operators for lunch offer to their guests a "lunch box" (literally a box with inside a sandwich, an apple, a snack and bobble water), with Gosheni Safari you have a sit down lunch on comfortable chairs and a table with tablecloth, dishes, silverware, drinks and vine and REAL GOOD food (soup, meat, vegetables, fresh fruit) prepared by the Acacia Luxury Camp team and served from metal containers to keep food warm or cold depending on the food. This sit down lunch with good food under a tree in the middle of the savanna MAKES a real difference in the safari experience. Excellent touch !!!

We are glad we selected Acacia Luxury Camp for our safari and we highly recommend them.
