Write a reviewWe thoroughly enjoyed our Stay and Hostal Martica y Jose. The room was extremely clean and the bed ever so comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a wonderful shower that provided enough pressure to wash my long hair!
The hosts were friendly and helpful at all times and prepared an amazing breakfas each day we were there.
The location is perfect with all the major attractions within walking distance along with many bars and restaurants.
I wish we could of stayed longer!

Hostal Matica y Jose deserves a rating of 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. Martica was lovely. Sandra, Martica's sister, was so helpful and kind. She was never too busy to answer one's questions. Our room was quiet, clean and private. The wood work in the room was beautiful. WiFi signal in the room worked perfectly well. The refrigerator in the room was well-stocked with beverages. Our room was air conditioned and it came equipped with a TV. Our patio space was a real treat. Food and food service were superb. There are not enough superlatives to describe our stay at Hostal Matica y Jose. Thanks to our amazing tour guide Raul of Havana True Colors for reserving this hostal for our stay.

In Cuba , you learn never to judge a book by its cover, this is the case with Casa Martica y Jose. Once the door opened you enter a very cool and spacious place. You are immediately transporte to Spain. We had thebest room with our own private terrace. The room was spacious and had airconditioning. Sandra was a warm and caring host. We had a very delicious dinner on our terrace, which was an amazing experience. The Casa is centrally located and you will find bars and restaurants close by. It was a great experience and I will return.

We stayed at the Hostal „Martica y Jose“ for 2 nights and had a wonderful time there. It is located in the city centre, only a 5-minute walk away from the central places.
Sandra, the host, is unbelievably friendly, caring and helpful. The food was delicious, you should definitely eat dinner in casa and not in one of the restaurants around. The house has a beautiful patio and is very well kept und clean, the room was also very clean and nicely decorated. We visited serveral casa particulares during our trip in Cuba, but the Hostal Jose y Martica was the best by far.

We had the opportunity to stay here in September. Our host Sandra was absolutely perfect. She and her mother and her staff were so welcoming to our family and the kids. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfasts were nice and tasty. The house itself was gorgeous - charming, romantic, authentic, and spotless. The interior design of the home was really quite breathtaking. They also offer laundry service (a must when traveling with kids). The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. Restaurants on every corner. And the kids were so lucky because a gentleman was selling churros on the street the night before we left. If we ever visit Trinidad again, we will definitely be staying here. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Mucho gracias Sandro! - Kim, Alex, and kids
