Lovely hotel, clean with excellent breakfast with lots of choices, tea and coffee available free in the main reception 24 hrs a day. Receptionists very friendly, helpful with good advice on how to make the most of your stay, transport and where to visit. My husband and I stayed here for 8 days, we were very well looked after by the staff so please accept our sincere thank you. The hotel is so close to the city, very near the Buda Castle and Citadel, the view is breathtaking. The room very clean and spacious. We are planning to go back very soon. Thank you again and keep up the good work xxx

Positive: 24h open reception, private parking, English speaking, good position

Not positive: insects in the room (dead and alive on the floor) , broken glass on the floor - the room had not been cleaned. Thin walls - it sounded that the neighbours were showering in our room.
I wasn't courageous enough to go to the included breakfast .

Conclusion: in the title

Me and my partner visited for short break away. Situated in the hill area, so no no for those with walking issues. Welcomed by the Lady at the reception, which gave us farewell! I agree, night porter/receptionist (man)was a bit of an unwelcome! For us ,perfect location, friendly team. Breakfasts continental with scrambled eggs, lecho, etc. Our room got really hot, and AC didn't seemed to work, But thanks to the staff, we will recommend and stay again!

Arrived at the hotel and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff. Check in was easy and our room on the third floor was easily accessible by a lift. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean. The only downside, being Welsh, there were no tea making facilities in the room although there were facilities down in reception. The room was very hot and our room being situated on the front of the building, there was a lot of road noise when the window was open. We preferred the road noise to the heat. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of choice. All the staff we met were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is situated on the Buda side but we found the Bolt taxi app very good with cheep taxi fares into the Pest side of the city. Will definitely keep this hotel in mind should we ever return to Budapest

We spent 4 nights here and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Free citymap, free tea, pleanty of information and programs are available. We were astonished by the buffet breakfast and the room. Location is also comfortable.
