The hotel and the rooms look nice. I think the room was bigger compared to previous experiences at another hotels. The restaurant can serve a great variety of choice for breakfast and for dinner also. The AC noise was not so disturbing during the night. Hard to park in the street but the hotel has an own garage. (45pln/day).
Try the solianka soup!
We stayed in DeSilva Opole for two nights as part of a trip around Poland, and were upgraded to a large studio apartment with a river view. There is parking onsite; undercover garage was 45zl/day and across the road was 35zl/day which we did think was slightly expensive especially in comparison to Wroclaw hotel parking. The location was good, with a short five minute walk to the main square.
The was a large L shape and furnished in a modern design which included a sofa, chairs, coffee table, desk, a bathroom with WC and shower, a second separate WC, and king sized bed with bedside tables. This was also the only room in the six hotels we stayed in in Poland that had a fridge within the room, which was appreciated. There was a large visible bump in the carpet where the carpet has not been cut or fitted correctly to the room, which is strange. The WiFi was excellent and the aircon worked well. The bed was comfortable and we slept well as there was no audible noise from the street.
The breakfast offering was very reasonable, but on the first morning there were no cereal bowls available.
Visited for the First time and booked a normal room. The room was clean. Especially silent and everything was ok. Free water coffee and Tea and the rest of the hotel was nice and clean.
Checking out is the only Special thing. IT takes very long So if you get the question to pay at checking in. Say yes !!!!
I will be back here. Slept perfect.
Spent five nights in the hotel, got the room on the front side towards the canal. Very good sleep quality, excellent views in morning. Room is very spacious, sufficient for a couple with a kid. Good quality of breakfast and well behaved staff. Ample sitting space in lounge inside and in front of the hotel. Hotel has a good gym too.
Overall - good value for money, ample amenities and all points for the sleep quality.
I stayed here for one night as I was working in the local area. The room I had was spacious and well equipped - I particularly liked that there were tea and coffee facilities in the room. The location is good with just a short walk to the central area where there are shops, bars and restaurants. The parking available was a little limited, I was parked under the hotel and it was quite snug, there were also a few on-street spaces too.
Breakfast was very good, wide selection and plenty of it.
All staff members I met were very friendly and helpful, and thankfully no problems with language as everyone seemed to speak English!
