Unfortunately, we only had one night at this villa, but we loved everything! The sympathic hosts provided a warm welcome and even took their time for a detailed guided tour through the garden, including macadamia tasting.
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are arranged with a lot of lovely details, the guest room seems like out of another century and breakfast is freshly prepared by the hosts themselfs.
Looking forward to stay there again.

My wife and I stayed at the Eden Villa bed & breakfast for two nights at the start of our New Zealand road trip.
From the very beginning being greeted by Christine, to saying farewell to her and Antony we couldn't have ask for anything more! What an incredible way to start our holiday.
Such perfect hosts, so helpful in providing local information and making sure we had everything we needed. The bed and breakfast itself is situated at the foot of Mt Eden in a lovely suburb which has plenty of cafe's, restaurants and quirky shops. A 2 minute walk away is the bus stop for the main route into the city - Antony will provide you with a detailed map of the bus route, so easy and handy to use you can be in the city in 12 minutes.
Our room was very well equipped , spacious, lovely decor and ensuite. Plenty of storage and everything thought of, including a good range of high quality toiletries. Breakfast was taken all together in their kitchen diner which we thought was lovely as you can chat to the other guests and the hosts. Everything homemade, Christine's musli and Antonys marmalade has really set the bar high for our other accommodations on our trip! Christine & Antony also provide a laundry service and even made a special breakfast pavlova on request of one of the other guests!
During our stay we walked up Mt Eden for out standing 360 degree views over the city, explored Aukland - Albert park is a must to see the huge trees!! And we took a day trip to Waiheke Island using the ferry and hop on hop off island bus.
All in all such a wonderful bed and breakfast we wish we could have stayed there longer, but have left feeling like we have made friends in Christine and Antony, so if you ever do make that trip to The Lakes please give us a shout!

Thank you both very much for your lovely review. We enjoyed hosting you and hearing about all your travels. We will certainly hold you to a chat when we do come to the Lake district next. Maybe we could do a bit of dog walking ! Enjoy New Zealand. We loved your wonderful enthusiasm for all you did. Best wishes Christine & Antony

This is a superb b&b; stylish and full of great art. Our room (Romo) was beautifully light with doors straight out onto the garden and, best of all, a roll-top bath to wallow in. The bed was super-comfy with lovely linens and the street was very quiet so we had a great sleep.

Mount Eden has a good choice of bars and restaurants but is also on a short bus ride to the city so would probably make a better alternative than staying in the CBD.

Antony and Christine were lovely hosts and we really enjoyed our chat with them over a good breakfast.
