This is a very comfortable, spotless and welcoming guesthouse only a five minute stroll from the center of Adare village. What really makes this B&B memorable though is the proprietor and host Bernadette. Bernadette is a naturally warm, welcoming, funny woman who cannot do enough for you. She is a joy to chat to and a great laugh. And her breakfasts are scrumptious, everything cooked to order and top quality ingredients and plenty of choice. The view of her garden from the breakfast room and back bedrooms is so pretty. Very enjoyable stay. Good Luck Bernadette in all you do in the future, Paddy and Mairead.

We only had one day in Adare and this was our last night in Ireland

We'd stayed in Carrabawn in 2014 and were delighted when Bernadette told us she could accommodate us again. She gave us such a warm welcome to her beautiful home and did everything to make us feel at home.
Our rooms were comfortable and immaculate. Our delicious breakfast was served in my favorite room with floor to ceiling windows that look out on the beautiful gardens.
Carrabawn is located just down the road from the village center with all it's lovely shops, restaurants and friendly pubs. And, it's so well located for day trips to our favorite spots.
Bernadette is so much fun that we wished she could have come out with us that night to hear some great trad music from some of the best musicians in one of the local pubs.

We only had one day in Adare and this was our last night in Ireland.

We couldn't have spent it in a more wonderful way than at Carrabawn in the lovely village of Adare.
Thank you Bernadette, we hope to see you soon again.

The village of Adare is beautiful and Carrabawn House was close enough to walk to town and enjoy the thatched roof buildings. Our room was comfortable and clean with extra shelves in the bathroom! Breakfast was very tasty and our view was of a lovely garden at the back of the property. Bernadette was a wonderful host.

Just a short walk and even shorter drive from the centre of Adare, this is a cosy guesthouse with one of the most helpful owners I've encountered. Our room was comfortable and overlooked an extensive back garden (with two very friendly dogs), and the owner, Bernadette, offered great advice in where to eat and drink on the Friday evening we found ourselves in Adare. Breakfast was excellent, the best we had in Ireland, and we were sad to leave after such a short stay of just one night. Would happily go back.
