We had an absolutely perfect weekend at Althoff Hotel. I have never experienced such a high service and extremely helpful staff. The room was a perfect size for two adults and we really enjoyed sleeping in the bed and sheets - It was very cozy. The breakfast was delightful even though it wasn't possible to serve the buffet. The fitness-room has to machines and perfect sized pool. Unfortunately because of the current Covid19-situation, the sauna wasn't open - But then we have a reason to come back and try that out as well :) We will return again some day!

Beautiful grand hotel, excellent service, lovely surroundings. I want to go back. I booked a deluxe double room which had a balcony and a fridge. Free parking onsite.
The breakfast was AMAZING. Give yourself at least an hour to enjoy this sumptuous feast!
The pool and sauna also lovely. Spa onsite but I didn’t get the chance to try.
I only stayed 2 nights but would have loved to have doubled this.
Celle is a beautiful town. Monday evening lots of restaurants are closed.

Lovely hotel, and set back from the road. We had breakfast in the restaurant but the evening meals had eye watering prices, 400+ euros. Lovely swimming pool too, which I took advantage of every morning. Close to Celle centre too.

Good location and nice hotel generally. We had a room in the main house which was fine, nice decor etc. and comfortable but not tea/coffee making facilities. Swimming pool was freezing cold so couldn't use, but sauna was nice. Bar service fine, but prices very high. Didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening as found menu not too exciting. Breakfast service was disappointing. The restaurant was busy, were left to find our own table, not offered coffee (had to ask twice), when it came was just dumped. Saw a menu on tables in the main restarurant area (we were in a side area), so helped outselves to one, but again no on asked if we wanted anything. Dirty dishes not cleared away, cheese not replenished etc. All in all disappoitning
