I booked a double room thru Expedia for 31 12 2019 for 169 E;
The room which was given to me did not correspond to the photo on my voucher. This hotel is composed of 2 buildings. We were given a room in the 'cheapest' building and probably one of the worst of the building : it was under the roof, small, without any phone, witn a leaking shower and with a metallic part of the shower door which did not hold and fell !. Also limited soft pillow !!!
The room we were given was worth at most 50 euros.
I complained that I have been cheated. They told me they had the right to do whatever price they want : proof that I have been cheated !
Meanwhile I complained to an unpleasant man (at 19h20), a girl phoned (probably to the boss) and told me afterwards they had no other room available and that I could leave now without paying anything. Of course it was impossible as it was late ! The fact that I have been cheated is demonstrated by the fact that the girl told that no better room was available.

So I discourage anybody to go there ; this hotel is dishonest :

Our room was small, but this is an old monastery and the rooms were at one time "cells" for the monks. We did not expect a large room. It was very clean and most adequate for two people. The bath was very clean and the room staff was very helpful. The hotel is on a hill and thee is a bit of a walk into "Old Town" but I walk with a cane and I had no problem with the hill. Our bus from Prague was running a bit late. I knew the check in closed at 7:00 PM so I sent an email to the reception. I got an immediate reply telling me not to worry. They would await our arrival. The breakfast buffet was very good with an adequate variety of breakfast foods.

Please note that if you want to stay here you must check in between the hours of 3pm and 7pm, otherwise the hotel reception closes and you cannot check in. We arrived at 14:00 and were told our room is not ready, but that we can come back after 3pm (no mention of reception closing at 7pm for check in). There is however a small paper on on the side of the door which you do not see when walking into reception because it is in a weird spot to the left and behind you with the hours on it. We dropped off our bags which were securely locked up for the night. Upon returning to the hotel at 9:30 pm there were no staff present in the hotel, and no number to call to reach anyone to help. The phone behind the locked reception door kept ringing though and our bags were securely locked away from us. We paid for another hotel and spent the night without our luggage. Hopefully we can get some partial refund. When I spoke to the staff about the situation they said they would talk with the manager but that it was basically my fault completely that we missed check in, even though the highly irregular hours for check in were not mentioned by any of the staff and no courtesy email or call was made to warn me we were missing check in. The booking confirmation email does have a note at the very bottom with the check in hours but the top portion just says check in after 3pm.
Overall I would recommend going to a real hotel with 24 hour service. For example if you lost your key and needed to get in your room at night there is no staff available to help you. Also if your travel delays your arrival for some reason you are paying for a non-refundable hotel room you cannot stay at. Basically it is more like a room with a curfew and not a true hotel with actual service of any kind and no staff available at night if you need help.

This place was great. Staff was very helpful and very nice. Loved the kids. The breakfast is a buffet and it has local meats, scrambled eggs, juice,yogurt, bread etc. You will not be hungry here. We had a room that fit 4 adults a toddler and an infant. Short walk to all the major sights. 2.3km walk to train station. I would stay here again.
