We stayed here for 2 nights during our holiday in Italy and it was by far the best part of our trip.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, a special thank to Elisa, Ruthe, Marco, Giulia and all the others not mentioned because we don't remember the names, both before our stay and during.
Furthermore: our room had a nice view on beautiful mountains, it was very clean and serviced daily. The pool area was awesome and the breakfast very good.
They don't have a restaurant but the staff is very helpful in giving local advice.
We will be visiting again next summer and staying a bit longer, so we can explore this wonderful city a bit more.
Very nice hotel with friendly staff in a nice neighbourhood and not far from central Roverto.
Hotel has been tastefully recently refurbished so rooms and bathrooms are a pleasure to be in as well as being clean and bright.
Hotel has a nice pool and a self-service laundry room which comes in handy.
No restaurant in hotel itself (other than for breakfast) but staff recommended a lovely restaurant nearby.
Really enjoyed my stay. Excellent room and superb bathroom. Lovely pool. Fantastic breakfast. Very helpful staff with local knowledge. Central location.
Good parking. Very good all-round.
The town of Rovereto is well worth a visit and has a superb Museum of Modern Art. Lovely spot.
Glad I chose this hotel. It is very well located, just 2 blocks away from the train station and within walking distance of all main attractions and the old, historic city center. Just bear in mind that at night the streets are quite deserted, yet, the town felt safe.
The staff were friendly and those at the Reception helpful with tidbits on the city.
The hotel only provides a small complimentary breakfast buffet, which was good and varied (pastries were delicious), and drinks in the Lobby in the eve. I found a few nice restaurants within 4-5 blocks but if you do not wish to walk, Hotel Rovereto across the street has a good restaurant for lunch & dinner.
The lobby, lounge and dining area on the ground floor are welcoming and cozy.
The room, for Italian standards, was modern and spacious (not with a classic style like most photos on the hotel's website), so maybe the one I got had been renovated. It faced the beautiful mountain range and even though the room had no A/C in October, I slept very well with the windows slightly open as it was quiet and cool at night. Note, however, that these rooms are above the pool area too so if there is a group of people talking and laughing loud in this social area they may be noisy.
Double bed was comfortable (with a firm mattress) and the narrow desk provided was wide enough for a laptop. The open closet had enough space for your belongings and included a safe, small fridge with beverages and a tray with instant coffee & tea.
The hotel, however, should check - and replace when necessary - the electrical kettles because the silvery coating of the heating coil inside was flaking and these particles were pouring into / floating in the cup.
Bathroom was modern too, with a nice wide basin. The only uncomfortable experience I had twice- and I recognize this might not be an issue for many - was that I found a hair in the clean towels. So it's just a matter of the cleaning staff being more careful when folding the towels.
Would I stay here again? Yes; for the price it could not be better.
Arriving at Rovereto by train, it was an easy, 5-minute walk with cases to the hotel, though we benefitted from checking the route in detail on Google maps before we arrived (we’ve learned the hard way that it’s best to do this!).
The room – we elected to stay in a superior room – was quiet, clean and serviced well each day. There was a fair choice of food at breakfast, and provisions were generously renewed as and when necessary. Staff were friendly, even though not everyone spoke English (and our Italian is useless …). The hotel is located an easy walk from the centre of town, and we were pleased with our choice.
The hotel swimming pool was an unexpected boon, because the weather was quite hot. We probably benefitted from visiting Rovereto a little off the summer peak, because most of the chairs around the pool were unoccupied. We found the hotel was perfect for our needs, and the best of the four hotels we stayed in during this holiday. I think it’s fair to rate it as excellent.
