The host, Luca, could not have been more helpful and even gave me a lift in his car to the station when I left. Overall, very good value.

The panoramic is a sparse, elegant, airy room that seems to float next to the church dome, and the sunrise from the roof terrace is worth waking for. Breakfast was an agony of choice from local pastries. The owners are beyond nice, found us parking, carried one of our suitcases, and gave us very good advice for an evening meal. Worth the entire trip.

We had a very enjoyable and restful stay at Caelum Hyblae and were very well looked after by our gracious hostess, Sara. The room, which was north-facing thankfully, with a view of the Iblean Hills, was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast, in the courtyard was very enjoyable in every respect; it was a challenge to consume all of the local delicacies on offer, and a challenge to refuse them. The wi-fi in the sitting room was very good and communication with my office server was faster from Ibla than it was from home (which, bizarrely, is 15 miles away from our office).

We stayed here for one night in June. The room was immaculately clean, large, with a very good bed and a decent bathroom. The window had a French window which overlooked the terracotta roof tiles of the houses below and the cupola of the Duomo, which provided us with a charmingly sonorous wake-up call. The owner is polite, kind and runs this place well. We didn't have breakfast, but could have done if we'd wished. Inside, the B&B is very characterfully decorated, and there was usually some nice Satie or Chopin tinkling away from the stereo.

Sicilian breakfast, didn't need to eat again until evening.Sara's knowledge of Ragusa Ibla is inexhaustable. Quiet comfortable room with all facilities. Lovely situation with Ibla at the foot of the steps. Plenty to see and do. When we had a problem with the hire car Sara called upon a mechanic friend who sorted it with no charge. There cannot be a better place to stay in the convenient, quiet part of a lovely hilltop town. Very good value, allround and so friendly.
