Stayed 4 nights.Excellent location next to metro and trams. Very helpful staff, even when I locked the room safe and didn`t put in a code. Lovely breakfast good choice of food and free tea and coffee all day from the area. Rooms comfortable. car parking on site. front desk not 24 hr but very easy to get in with room card. Would stay again. Vienna is very expensive apart from transport, but lovely especially if into Opera and Classical Music. Great Fun Fair near the centre. My Wife And I have been to Vienna, Prague and Bratislava, 4 days in each this holiday. Bratislava is smallest of the three, easy to cover just by walking and to see all the sights, busy in the daytime when the river cruises arrive. Vienna the largest and most expensive but good cheap transport. would need longer if you wanted to see in all. Prague very touristy at the old part of the town and over the bridge to the castle. Would say avoid at weekends unless on a stag/hen do.
We stayed here for five nights and found the location perfect for reaching the city center from the subway. The entire staff was professional, friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 401 and found the room very comfortable and location quiet. Parking was great for us too. We left our car and used public transportation a short walk from the hotel. My only suggestion is they include some more protein like hard boiled eggs for breakfast. This is just a suggestion not a criticism.
Hotel is in good location and using U1 metro line you can go easily to the centre of town.
Room was very clean and the area is very quite. Staff was very polite and ready to help.
Unfortunately, bBreakfast was not so good.
I am yet to stay at this hotel, I am booked for 5 nights in September, but I have already had an excellent encounter with the hotel management and wanted to say as much.
I made my reservation through Booking.com and paid the full balance. I later amended the room to a Twin instead of a double and there was a small additional charge to pay. Without asking booking.com tried to charge an expired credit card, sent me an email saying it was successful, then 24hours later cancelled the booking and threatened to keep the paid balance.
Thankfully after a quick discussion with hotel management they have agreed to honour my reservation and will take the excess charge when I visit. Very understanding, polite and competent.
10/10 for the hotel
1/10 for booking.com
Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights recently, my decision being based on the good reviews it has had, and I wasn't disappointed.
Friendly staff, comfortable room and well maintained hotel. Decent continental breakfast selection in the mornings as well.
There is no air-conditioning, but a large fan had been provided in the room, and this was a useful addition, as it was very warm for most of the 7 nights I was there.
5 mins walk to Kagraner Platz Underground station (Line U1) - 15 min trip to City Centre (Stephansplatz) or 20 min to Wien Hbf. Tram route 26 runs past the hotel to reach 2 different Underground/OBB rail stations (Floridsdorf or Hausfeldstrasse) if you want a different route into the city other than the U1 line.
Only traffic noise experienced was vibration from the trams passing by, but nothing to particularly worry about!
Would certainly stay there again on a future trip to Vienna.
