Maison Bergdorf is a unique and stylish place. We felt home away from home and Bea is a great host. Since the weather was very moody, we mostly stayed in all day and enjoyed the beautiful living room with the fire place. There are lots of nice books and art you can look at all day. Very beautiful garden and terrasse. We will be back!

We stayed in the Maison Bergdorf for 2 nights after 6 days of hiking and it was a welcome change from the rustic mountain huts. The whole house is very stylishly furnished and the room incl. bathroom was super comfortable. Also the breakfast - served in the beautiful garden if the weather is nice - was very tasty and the hosts were very friendly. We will definitely return and can only recommend it.

From the first moment you see the house when you arrive you feel like being welcomed at home.
The house is beautifully renovated and decorated, you can feel the love for this old house and the love and taste for beautiful design and interior decor. There are fresh flowers every day in every corner of the house, lots of decor details that make it so special, the parlours are inviting you to sit down with a cup of tea or coffee and read or simply daydream away...
The place is so quiet and has a such a relaxing vibe, like an oasis where you can retreat and just be.
The kitchen also feels like your kitchen at home, you can make yourself a cup of coffee or tea anytime, we even had dinner "at home" one day with some stuff we bought and put in the fridge that is provided for the guests to use.
Breakfast is served on the beautiful terrace with the morning sun kissing and in pretty picnic baskets which makes it even more romantic :)
We stayed in room number 6 for 4 nights, which was quite small and a bit dark (only one small window even though with beautiful view on the garden below and the Jungfrau mountain), but still beautiful and we slept very well. If we could (there was no availability for 4 nights for the other rooms), we would have booked one of the bigger rooms downstairs, also because room number 6 didn't have an en suite bathroom, we had to go out on the corridor (and the bath was quite small). Nevertheless it was an overall perfect stay, we felt so at home and would have stayed longer.
The hosts Stéphane and Bea were always very helpful, welcoming and kind, Stéphane also recommended good restaurants and one night we had a wonderful Libanese dinner at Layaly Beirut, which we absolutely recommend.
As said, we loved everything about Maison Bergdorf, and we definitely recommend staying here and we would definitely visit again!

This enchanting old house is hidden in a peaceful area and has a wonderful garden where you can have breakfast listening to the chorus of many birds and just relax. Room 8 is on the ground floor, with a door opening to the garden. The host and housekeeper will gladly fulfil any wishes and make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The masterly chosen jazz music, the artfully decorated guest room, the exquisite choice of books and albums make you feel cosy and aesthetically elevated.
A place you wish to visit again, over and over.
