Let me start with the pluses here; it's in a great location for access to coach/bus/rail terminals, vaperetto (water buses) and lots of bars, restaurants & shops. The place is clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming - would I stay here again? I would certainly consider based on the above.
This was a Jet2 package from the UK for 4 nights and reasonably priced, I upgraded the room from a small double but in my opinion I stayed in a small double - it was adequate.
If I did stay again I would try and get a larger room as more than 1 person moving around at any given time was an issue.
The bed was hard and in my opinion not comfortable for me personally- it was adequate
Breakfast was typical continental - it was adequate.
If adequate is ok or if you are on a budget then check this place out.
Bus/coach/rail - 20mins walk
Vaperetto - 10mins walk
Bars/restaurants - 1 to 5mins walk
Rialto Bridge - 20mins walk
S.Marks Square - 30+mins walk
It's an old convent converted to hotel and is in sections but linked and next to a canal (some bedrooms will have canal view)
It's 3 star and considering it's great location is generally a quiet area during the night.
Rooms were cleaned daily but no safe or fridge in room I stayed in.
We had a 3 night stay there. It is a lovely hotel side by a canal. We really loved it. The stuff were multilingual, very helpful and friendly. The room was exceptional clean thanks for the hard work of the housekeepers.
The breakfast was also very nice. It was continental breakfast with a wide range of choices.
I definitely recommend for others this charming hotel in the heart of Venice.
Second stay at this hotel. Had a room in the annexe this time. Lovely big room on second floor, overlooking a small canal. Had plenty of space. Adequate storage, a kettle and tea and coffee ( new innovation I think)and we had a proper bath with shower over. Only thing was the hard bed. Not too good for old hips. But I find most Italian hotel beds are hard. Very convenient location. 15 minutes from bus and train stations, 10 minutes from Rialto bridge and 15 minutes from St Marco. Breakfast buffet fine too
I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with my family. The hotel has great location, in middle of Venice, easy to get anywhere we needed. The room was also very nice and clean, we get a complimentary upgrade with a canal view. Staff very helpful and friendly, esecialy the blond lady from the reception, sorry i dont remember her name, but she was brilliant, very informative and polite. With our room rate, we had breakfast included. Very good continental buffet. We highly recommend this hotel and for sure we will be back. Thanks Tintoretto team. Well done :)
We have just been for a 3 days visit to Venice and stayed at Hotel Tintoretto. It’s a 3 star hotel. It’s lovely. We stayed in room 400. The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is in a great location. We will b visiting Venice again and staying at the Hotel Tintoretto again this November. The only 2 points I would say is the breakfast was limited choice and it would have been nice to have one English Channel on the TV! The attached restaurant also is amazing. Excellent food.
