Number of stairs to the 2 bedroom apartment? As noted in one review and only that review: Noise from ambulance?? Thank you!

There were a few steps but that wasn't a problem. The ambulances? Distant rumblin city noise. Nothing that bad.

We very much enjoyed our 3-night stay in the first floor apartment at La Gensola. We have 3 teenage daughters, so two bedrooms and two baths were greatly appreciated. We did not use the kitchen much, but it was nice to have. The apartment is super convenient for restaurants, public transportation, and taxi cabs. Lorenzo was great at arranging transfers to and from FCO for our large family with extensive luggage. He also directed us to a tour guide who arranged Colosseum and Vatican tours. We much preferred this apartment to two hotel rooms, and the price was great. Pictures seem accurate. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the 2 rooms apartment , which has 2 separate bedrooms & bathrooms and a door between then for privacy. Very close to main road and it is possible to cross the bridge and get by foot to Campo di fiori. Very clean. Beds are very comfortable . Luisa is great hostess . Thank you a lot Luisa for everything!!!!

My brother and I stayed in the 2 apartments for only one night. They could be connected if you unlock a door but they are totally separate each with one bedroom, one bathroom and a kitchen and living room. The apartments are very, very modern. Everything looks like it was just remodeled. The location is great, depending on where you want to be in Rome but I think it's a great location in general. It is not a hotel and there isn't anyone to help you but if you are fairly independent then you'll be okay. There is a big info packet left on the table with lots of information. It might be a little noisy as it faces a tiny square with a restaurant/bar and also it is right off a very main street. Other than that, the place is really quite nice!

Everything about our one bedroom second floor apartment was of high standard. The owner Luisa was
very helpful and understanding when we arrived in Rome and our luggage did not arrive which caused us to be over an hour late for our check-in. The only minor complaint would be that the shower drained very slowly and water would splash out onto the floor. The drain issue, however, was quite common on a number of the places we stayed throughout our holiday in Italy. Would certainly recommend La Gensola in Trastevere as a nice apartment in a very suitable location.

We have just spent 4 nights in this lovely apartment so close to all the restaurants and narrow cobbled streets and Piazzas of Trastevere, and a fairly short walk across the river to the other spectacular sights of Rome. We had the upstairs loft apartment which comprises of a small but very well equipped lounge/kitchen. All spotlessly clean.
Upstairs there is a balcony/loft large bedroom with great bathroom off it. The fittings are of a high standard and the water hot and plentiful. Bed large and very comfortable.
The owner was especially helpful and replied instantly to questions sent by emails. The cleaner too, who greeted us on arrival was very pleasant and helpful.
Excellent accommodation in very convenient situation. I would not look anywhere else when I next visit Rome.
