A shaving mirror maybe ?
Overall we had a nice time and we would gladly come back.
Should you have the bad idea to book a room at the Principe Pio Hotel, prepare yourself to live a skeptical experience. You probably will have to change room, if you request it and if the manager will agree, since it's cold and they're making some renewal s: thy use you as a tester (and you aren't payed for that; actually, you pay for). Still, don't bring at room any device and, if you do, above all don't let anything out of the safe: it can happen the you will not find it anymore.
Fell free to talk with the concierge: they are very kind; just remember that you are in the Groundhog Day movie and everyday you will start again the same story.
What mentioned above, and other, it happened to me and some friends.
If you aren't masochist, avoid this Hotel.
Awesome Breakfast Buffet, nice front desk service, good location, but stay wasn't good. The construction noise woke up every morning. Outside the Hotel was cold, inside the room the Administration turned off the central air conditioning, the room was hot. We ask for Service but front desk told us that is the way they work. We have to open the window to feel better. What a shame!
After arriving at 0900 we met the front office clerk Ruben who was very nice and helpful. Even though we arrived well before check in he offered us our room early at no extra charge. So nice since we traveled from California. In fact all four days the front clerks were awesome. There is free coffee 24 hours a day which was great. We didn’t try the breakfast but read they were good.
The rooms were quite dated with chipped furniture and the closet sliding door fell off, but I was able to get it back on its track. Housekeeping sucked since they couldn’t figure out how to sweep or vacuum the floors. Also, returned from a long day out and they didn’t give us any towels. Had to call the front desk for them. The walls are paper thin and can hear the people on both sides of us. At least the beds were comfortable, but the bottom sheet was too small and always bunched around my feet. 🙄.
Great location for the price though. Close to the bus, metro, and downtown areas with some walking. We don’t go on European vacations to sit at the hotel, so overall it was OK.
