Write a reviewIt is just 5 mins walking from Chamartin station. This station is the second largest station after Atocha & well connected. Besides it has got good restaurants too. It has metro as well as train connections to other parts of Spain. Behind the hotel within 10 mins walking is a convenience store. Mac Donald is also within walking distance of the hotel. The suite has got a good living room with a bedroom & a washroom. Thus it is good for business as you can call your business visitors to the living room.

We had a lovely stay, although would have been nice if they had supplied coffee/tea making facilities.
The room was spacious with separate sitting/bead room areas.
Breakfast was good and filling.
We were traveling back by train via Paris on the sleeper which left from the nearby station, so on the last day we just too our bags to the stations left luggage (save walking back to the hotel) and had a full day before finally leaving Spain.

I found the Foxa25 quite chap for Madrid and it was very convenient for the place we were meeting. I did not like the area around the train station as a woman walking alone and had two bad surprises that mean I will probably not go back to this hotel:
- My non-smoking room had a cigarrette on the floor of the bathroom
- The cigarrette was still there 4 nights later!! (what does that tell us about the cleaning?)
Huge rooms (former aparthotel) and cheap price. But they should improve the quality.

Close proximity to railway station was helpful. Cheap (€45), good value if on a small budget. Close to metro -which is amazing. Spacious but tired decor. Number of ashtrays in the hallways and in the non smoking room raised a few queries.

Stopped here briefly when my girlfriend and I arrived in Madrid early evening, we had a lovely room which was very spacious we found the hotel on a website which had a deal of sorts and it was very reasonable. We specifically chose this hotel so we could catch a early morning train to Miran De Abro. A short walk from the hotel are a few tapas bars.
I wouldn't hesitate stopping here again for the train station location and the comfort of this hotel, staff were also extremely friendly and advised the best tapas bar.
