My husband, and I stayed here for three nights, two weeks ago during an 18 day trip throughout Spain. I absolutely loved staying here! First of all, the couple who own La Posada, Miguel Angel, and Gema, are the nicest people we met in Spain. They were great hosts the minute we walked in. They both made us feel at home right away! The Hostal is absolutely charming, and extremely clean. Room was cleaned, and made up every day. Hostal is in the perfect location when you're visiting Toledo. Toledo is truly a Medieval City, and the Hostal is within walking distance to everything you want to see. We are two 60 year olds, and felt comfortable, and safe walking everywhere. If you are traveling with a lot of luggage, ask for a room on the first level. There are no elevators, but Miguel Angel was kind enough to help us with the luggage. Miguel Angel even took us to two stores where we wanted to do some shopping. We are absolutely sure that anyone as picky as me (I read many reviews about hotels) would love their stay here.
I am hoping to return to Toledo some day, and I know where I would stay again!
Isabel y Bob

My wife spent three days in Toledo in March, 2019 and really enjoyed our time in this Hostal. Miguel, the owner, started our stay off on the right note by taking considerable time explaining a lot of things about Toledo and the best things to see and do while there. He continued to answer any questions we had during our whole stay at his place. Our room was on the small side. It was very well equipped though and very clean and comfortable. The location was really ideal for getting around the Old Town area of Toledo. We travel by bus and train and don’t have a car so being centrally located is quite important to us. We couldn’t have gotten a better location. Miguel recommended several nearby restaurants which saved us time that was better used to sight seeing.
This is obviously a family run place so you can feel comfortable knowing that your money goes into the local economy and not into some global company which means a lot to my wife and I. I would very highly recommend staying here during your next visit to Toledo.

Although we live only one hour drive away from Toledo, we decided to spend 3 days (2 nights) in Toledo to explore this city so full of history and culture. La Posada de Zocodover is located in the heart of Toledo and everything is with in a 10 minute walk. The room we had was small, but sufficient and although oriented to one of the main pedestrian streets very quite. The host, Miguel Angel gave us many great tips with regard what to see and where to eat. Great value!

We stayed at Hostal La Posada de Zocodover for several nights while in Toledo. The location was great, being a block or so off the main square. Our room which was on the top floor was small, but very clean. But that is to be expected in an old city like Toledo. What makes this place wonderful is Miguel and Gemma, the hosts. They were very helpful throughout our stay with restaurant and shopping recommendations. Miguel even took us to a special place to buy marzipan one morning. They even stopped us in the street when they saw us walking. If you choose to stay here, Miguel and Gemma will make you feel like family.

Our hosts, Miguel and Gemma were lovely.....engaging , friendly and extraordinarily helpful. Miguel took the time to give us
some great ideas for touring around this beautiful city as well as some perfect suggestions for restaurants in the area. Location, location, location and this was perfect...minutes walk to all the important tourist attractions. Breakfast is not included but there are so many restaurants to choose very close by that this was not an issue. The room included everything you could possible want and was very clean and nicely decorated. We loved hearing and seeing the hustle and bustle on the street below us which calmed down at night and with the window closed (there is AC) was no problem at all. Our hosts definitely made this a five star experience! Thank you so very much , Miguel and Gemma.
