Great fun and friendly! Lots of bric-a-brac and artefacts everywhere and Teresa gives everything her personal touch. A very small, family run business where they go out of their way to make guests welcome and be warmly received. Little added extras to the menu are tasty and delightful. The bathroom just about works OK, but still with lots of complimentary perfumed extras. The room with its little balcony overlooking the street and just yards away from the main square and the Abbey. Hope to stay there again on our return to The Loire.

The rooms are richly decorated, a bit over the top, but upon closer examination there is also much of interest. Beds and bathroom (shower) excellent, and we had a privat dining room where our breakfast and dinner was served!
Fontevraud is an excellent location to explore the Loire Valley castles and this is the place to stay! Tony can make you an excellent original curry, too!

We literally walked out of the abbey and round the corner and this was the first B&B we found. Luckily there was a charming room free for two nights. It was the perfect place for our short stay en route from the Atlantic to Strasbourg. The room was a delight to the eye, with china and pictures everywhere. A very comfortable bed and perfect breakfast with fresh scones completes the picture. Thoroughly recommended. Fontevraud itself is a fascinating place and deserves more time than the usual couple of hours at the abbey. Take a walk around the village and see the holy well and other gems and walk up the hill and along the footpaths towards the Vienne. We loved the fact that there was no TV and have no idea if there was wi-fi two things that are completely unnecessary for a good relaxing stay.

Visited Fontevraud for an overnight stay and found Chez Teresa in the centre of the village to be a very sweet, cosy and comfortable Bed and Breakfast. Teresa and Tony were charming hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast included fresh home made scones which were truly delicious, more home made biscuits were in the room with the tea making facilities. A super and thoroughly enjoyable stay, it was a pity we could not have stayed longer.

We had an excellent 3 course Italian style meal. Teresa makes the most wonderful strawberry cheesecake!
Such lovely hosts and a magical atmosphere in their delightful dining room. The tearoom is a real treasure trove and I keep returning there time after time.
