We stayed for one night and it was ok, as we basically just slept there. The room was really small but was clean. The lift was a bit scary you could only fit 2 at a time max weight 150kg, or you had 5 flights of stairs, but for the price can't really complain. Says parking but didn't say not on site you had to drive your car to another location which was a bit of a hassle considering the driving skills of the French, but their rates were reasonable. Overall OK for a over night stay.

Yes, as previous reviewers have said, the rooms are small and the lift must be a contender for the smallest in the world.
However for us a hotel room is only a place to sleep so size doesnt matter.
The bed was very comfortable, room was clean, shower was hot and powerful.
Would benefit from the addition of a kettle in the room but otherwise its great.
Staff are very polite and friendly
Breakfast is basic continental
Would probably use again

I visited this hotel for three nights with a friend at the beginning of April. We had fairly low expectations before arriving considering the price that we paid. Our room was basic, but most importantly clean. The maid visited everyday to make our beds and provided us with fresh towels. The hotel is in need of a bit of repairing in places (e.g damaged lampshade) but this kind of thing didn't bother us because we only needed somewhere to sleep and shower.

The staff were accommodating and friendly. Our French is shockingly bad but we did try to make an effort. Fortunately most, but not all, of the reception staff that we met spoke good English. One man was particularly helpful as he advised us as to where we could get the train to get to Disneyland.

The hotel is situated a very short walk away from a metro station and approximately a 10 minute walk away from Republique square where locals meet to dance during the evenings and range of restaurants/cafes can be found.

When we booked the hotel it said that you had to pay for wifi and use of the safe, but on arrival we were informed they were free which was great.

The hotel was quiet. My friend who I stayed with said that she was woken up one night by other guests coming back late (I had ear plugs in so didn't hear them) but this generally happens in most hotels I've stayed in.

The only issue really was that there was only one plug socket in the whole room which made it a bit difficult to charge our phones up etc...

This is a no frills hotel. The room and bathroom were small but clean, shower worked well and the beds were comfortable Breakfast was adequate Interesting area adjacent (St Martins canal) with restaurants, bars, shops and very close to Metro and walking distance to Gare du Nord
