Had an amazing stay at this magical place. The room was fabulous, decor quirky and stylish, bed comfortable, linen crisp and all the little extras to make the stay wonderful. Fresh milk for tea a special touch. We returned rather late to the Hotel one night, our curtains were drawn, lights switch on, it gave a welcoming feeling to exhausted travellers. The breakfast is well presented, the quality of the products used are excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.

Our first sight of The Rabbit Hole was after dark, so we didn't get the full view of the property until the next morning, when all the quirky, quaint, cute decor was on full display in the sunlight.

It is FUN. This is not a place you stay to rest your head, secure in the blandness of beige and straight lines. This is a place that has a zebra in wellies with a South African flag as a cape greet you as you drive in.

The only complaint I have is that we booked separate rooms for our kids and ourselves, and our kids room was MUCH nicer. I feel like, as teenagers, they don't need the extra dose of luxury that their parents paid for.

Our room, which was smaller, had a lovely skylight that looked like the moon after dark. I LOVED it.

The breakfast wasn't terribly awesome, but there was a hot breakfast available and cold items to tide you over while you waited for the cook.

There was also a house cat that came to visit us while we were eating - we loved the cat, even if it did walk away as soon as there were no more bits of bacon for it.

This quickly little guest house seems to be Alice in Wonderland themed and unsuited for business accommodation. However, it met all my needs as a business traveller. The rooms are compact but clean with a decent shower and comfortable bed. The room has a place to work (not a dressing table but a proper table) and the Internet speed is acceptable.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the site.

I must start by saying that the restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming but all the disappointment started when I was promised a specific room and not given what I was promised, I was not informed that I will not be getting that room until I asked and was causally informed that another guest extended their stay so the pictures of the room that was e-mailed to me was now not available to me. My room had a sliding door that was broken and a make shift latch and locked system was put in. I thought that was extremely unprofessional. I went on a solo trip to enjoy some peace and quiet. In a place that boasts tranquility, I had the cleaning staff banging fiercely on my room door because they came to do house keeping but I decided to have a lie in because I had a late night. They never stopped banging on that glass door until I woke up dazed. I mean really, where are the signs, DO NOT DISTURB... MAKE UP ROOM. When my room was actually made up, because I was annoyed and left for some time, the sheets and pillow cases were not changed.... Apparantly I needed to pay extra for that... Really? Further to that, while trying to sleep, I could hear some knocking/ banging in the room next to me which seemed like, someone was knocking a frame or nails into the wall... so much for tranquility! Reported that and got no apology, just oh, we will have it seen to. The cherry on top was the cold showers I was taking and when I reported it, I was told the batteries on the gas geyser were replaced and my shower should be better. I had the same experience the very next day and when I complained again, I was asked why I didn't say anything. I advised that I did speak to the other manager. I got no apology or anything. I do a tranquility trip every month so this is not new to me, I will never ever visit this place again. I am extremely and utterly disappointed

This is a very unique hotel, in a great location (just down the road from mall). Our room was quiet, clean and very tidy and quite modern. We only stayed one night but got to eat breakfast at the restaurant but would have loved to have had dinner there too as their restaurant rates very well on trip advisor. Would definitely stay here again.
