I fell in love with Ti Morne on first sight. I was looking for reasonably priced accommodations and this was a recommendation from the folks on the SBH Trip Advisor forum (thank you). I looked them up on TA and found their website and immediately knew I had found my home on St Barth!! I was looking forward to vacation mostly because of this place...

And it did not disappoint!! I would return to SBH specifically to stay here again (I don’t think I’d be happier anywhere else.) Ti Morne is the very definition of low-cost luxury. It was everything they said and more! This is thee one place in the Caribbean that I could afford during high season and still feel like I got my money’s worth - that says a lot from an experienced island traveler!

We stayed in a standard room with three people - myself, my mom and my son. We had a pull-out bed for the extra person and it was the best we’ve ever had in terms of comfort. The king bed was also huge and I would say the most comfortable we’ve ever had too. The room was large and we didn’t feel cramped at all. Lots of lighting and sunlight. Lots of storage space and two luggage racks. A safe was also provided although not so sure even locking the room would be necessary, lol. Completely safe and quiet.

The bathroom was large and modern, plenty of counter space. The shower was a bit small but the abundance of (very) hot water and good water pressure made up for that 10x over! Probably also one of the best showers on any island (of 28). Also had a great window, odd but we really liked that window, lol.

The kitchen was very new and very modern and everything worked perfectly! We cooked about 80% of our meals there and had no problems. My mom does bring a few cooking essentials (after 13 yrs of doing this, we got it down) but we could have made do without. And, what, how can you beat that view while preparing and eating meals?!? We could have afforded an upgraded room but wanted the standard specifically because the kitchen is in the front and we utilize it so much to prepare meals, eat and just hang out. The view almost became fake after a few days, like a big picture frame, but we tried to never take it for granted and enjoyed every moment.

Speaking of views - can’t get much better than this! Take a short walk up the hill and you’ll feel like you’re on top of the world! Beautiful scenery, very green, and the landscaping was very tropical and absolutely beautiful - very well done. The property was very nicely spaced out, so everyone got a good view and good privacy. (The parking is a bit tight but not a big issue.)

The view from the pool was also amazing and the pool was so perfect and refreshing. It was always clean and we always had it to ourselves (the benefit of a very small operation during low season). There were plenty of lounge chairs and most of the deck got sun until after 4pm. We value our pool time and had zero complaints here.

Caroline is the most amazing host and absolutely deserves all of the compliments she receives. She is so warm and welcoming and eager to make your stay as easy and pleasurable as possible. They provide beach towels in the office and you can turn in for fresh towels, as needed. (Please everyone, reuse your towels and linens and save precious water.) We required minimal service but the few encounters we had with the staff were extremely positive and I have no doubt they provide five star service to every guest (even at this price point).

Aside from the specifics, the room and entire property were also spectacularly clean. Yet we hardly saw any maintenance staff, they definitely keep the tradition of discreteness and subtlety that the high end properties are known for. This is not something we necessarily care about but definitely appreciated. The location was great, we liked being on this end of the island, close to everything, yet felt far away from the hustle and bustle. I cannot find any fault although I would recommend ceiling fans in the room and kitchen areas. Oh, that reminds me, the air conditioning unit worked like a charm. We visited during summer and couldn’t have wanted for better, very efficient and full functionality of options for temp control. And almost no bugs!! I am literally a magnet for mosquitos and always get bit...I came home with not a single bite. We were not at any beaches during dusk (so can’t speak for that), but we enjoyed dusk at the pool and on the terrace/porch every single day and never once used spray.

I would absolutely recommend Ti Morne, even to the most discerning guests. As you can tell, we were very pleased with our stay. We almost looked forward to going “home” and spending time at our unit and the pool. We liked St Barth enough but Ti Morne is the deciding factor that would bring us back. Totally wonderful experience from start (booking) to finish (checking out). Keep up the good work Caroline, Tania, staff and owners - you have a top notch operation! Much thanks and appreciation for a great stay!

To be honest, I said to even the staff I will not review this place..... because it's probably the nicest place I've ever stayed in the Caribbean & I don't want the word out. Well with Irma doing a number on my favorite island I felt it was as time to let the word out. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! A full kitchen which is located on the rear deck for all our needs. Great to make morning coffee & grab some pastries to start our day. We made great use of it & enjoyed dinner out most every night. Small pool was nice with the view & you can actually spend an afternoon there without driving out & hitting the beaches. Large room with a sofa & TV. The front balcony had a view to die for & every morning we had our coffee there. Parking is assigned so no issues there. Office staff is very helpful. Cats roam free here so expect a friend to drop in & say hello ( I'm hungry). There's several different types of rooms but they are all nice, but don't take my word for it, find a place that is double the price with a chic view.

Le P'tit Morne Hotel is located on the road that dead ends into the stairs leading to Colombier Beach. The location is generally quiet, but because of the straight away on the road in front of it many people on scooters and ATV's love to speed up and down it. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. What incredible views! Loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning watching the sun rise. The outdoor kitchen was pretty well equipment. Large refrigerator and sufficient utensils and pans for cooking simple meals. The bottle of chilled wine in the refrigerator when we checked in was a nice touch. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. There was a local gentleman who visited the office staff in the morning and he was so friendly, helpful and funny. I actually looked for a reason to go to the office just to chat with the staff in the morning. The island is small so getting anywhere on the island takes maybe 5-10 minutes from this location. Yeah, being on the beach can be sweet, but Le P'tit Morne Hotel offers clean, comfortable accommodations, a very friendly and helpful staff, great views and relaxing quiet of the island. Did use the pool facility one day and it was also very nice. Had a friendly little feral kitty visit us each day. While she was skittish she did let me pet her. I wish I could have brought her home with me.

I had forgotten to write a review about this hotel and the Atrium in SXM. My daughter and I stayed at P Morne Feb 2017 for 1 week. I hope its not too late to be posted. We had stayed in SXM for a few days pre and post trip to St Barths. We flew in/out from the airport in Grand Case. Landed in St Barths and picked up rental car from Avis, a brand new red hardtop countryman and it was beautiful. It had 50 k mileage on it. Needless to say we got a big scratch on it and had to pay Euro 377 upon return. Not happy about that. We drove straight to the hotel. It was a Sunday so no managers were there but the keys where there and we unpacked quickly. It was basically a bedroom with a king bed and a bathroom with shower and large closet with safe, AC and TV with English CNN. Wifi was good. Hotel is in the west end of the island high up in the mountains right beside the lookout point. There is a small kitchenette on the balcony with mid size fridge, 2 burner stove top (no oven) toaster ,coffee/tea maker and enough pots and pans and dishes to prepare light meals. Views of the Atlantic side were nice with the 3 island out in the distance. There is a small pool on the property which was nice to have. You also got your own parking spot on the road. We were on the second floor. The housekeeping girls call every morning to see if you want your room cleaned which is a good idea since we believe you don't need your sheets changed everyday. Such a waste of water. I don't change my sheets everyday at home. Every third day is good enough while on vaca. They would also change towels daily if you wanted them. Management and staff were all pleasant and they run the place very well. They never bother you. I have been to St Barths a few times and I would stay here again. It is very quiet-no resto-no entertainment just peace and quiet. Next time I go I would like to try staying in Gustavia in a villa overlooking Shell Beach. Have stayed at Ondines Sur La Plague and Tom Beach. Would also look at staying on Lorient Beach(Villa Bikini looks nice) Have to do more research on those places. The room I stayed in was a bit tight for 2 adults but you can get connecting rooms also.

Made a quick 2 day trip to St Barts in June 2017. We reserved 3 rooms for a family of 9 and it was a very nice and clean hotel. Do not go expecting 5 Star Service, but if you are looking for an economical place with incredible views this is the place for you. Tania was great and very accommodating. Let us do an early check in with no problems. Pool is set on the top of the hillside with incredible views of the ocean and the most comfortable little loungers. They have beach towels you can use and they have plug adapters if needed. We had a standard room with a kitchen and patio. The room was clean and the fold down futon was large and plenty of space for 2 small kids. Defiantly will return and look forward to our next visit.
