This cosy farmhouse is located in peaceful countryside, convenient for Wells and exploring Somerset. Hosts Pam and Sandy are very welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable .The generous 'Full English'breakfast was well cooked and presented. If we visit The area again, we would certainly wish to stay at Crapnell Farm.

Pam & Sandy are lovely hosts and their farmhouse is the perfect place for a quiet relaxing stay just a few miles from the beautiful city of Wells. Our room was spacious with a view of the beautiful surroundings, good traditional English breakfast and above all the kindness of Pam and Sandy who will make sure you have a fantastic stay. Definitely recommend and will come back for our next stay in Somerset!

This lovely little farmhouse was a gem of a find, just outside Wells. We had 2 nights here.
Very welcoming and a wonderful breakfast. Cosy room overlooking farmland, catered for all our needs.
Ideally situated for trips Into Wells, Cheddar and surrounding villages.

I stayed here for two weeks while working at New Wine. Pam and Sandy are wonderful hosts; aside from cooking up really fantastic breakfasts (the eggs, from their own hens, are a particular highlight), it was the little details which really made the difference, from phoning the local pub to book a table for me, to keeping me supplied with coffee and biscuits during the weekend while I was working from their lounge. It is definitely a place to choose if you're looking for some peace and quiet; set in the midst of farmland, it is absolutely silent at night, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. Finally, it is worth mentioning that my room also ticked the necessary boxes - comfy bed, good size, and decent shower. All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend Crapnell Farm if you're staying in the area - you won't be disappointed!
