First of all staff was super friendly and the look of the place is quite pleasant.

I've got to say now that our room was disappointing from the very beginning. The layout is very dated. We found one broken mirror inside the main closet that has not been changed. The phone was old and with a broken cord. The curtains had holes all over the place and the inner pool had not been cleaned before giving us the room.

The main pool of the hotel its great but tons of little mosaic tiles were missing or loose. Both me and my baby boy got injuries becuase of that same reason.

The main manu could have changes to make it more appealing to regular users. Flavor was good but also would have been good to offer children's menu which the place lacks.

Finally two key notes for this time: 1st the beach was dirty with single use plastic (we even encountered a syringe which should not have been there at all). Attention needs to be put to make a more pleasant stay for guests. 2nd and most importantly, on Sunday there was no service of sanitation of sunbeds nor cleaning of the pool. There is NO EXCUSE as to not have enough personnel to go through thorough cleaning at all times as we are all trying to have some normality in pandemic times. Hope things improve in the near future.

A lovely retreat from reality in an architectural abode in a lovely private cove. And if you happen to like 'birding', there is plenty to hear and see on the east side of the property - within 30 minutes I saw many species that were new to me, at least a dozen or more colourful aves!

Only had a couple of meals, they were pretty good, although room service took forever for 2 tortilla soups, and not worth the wait!

We went for one week to just relax and do nothing and this is the perfect place! Our room was right above the beach so we went to sleep with the sound of the waves, and when I woke in the night the view of the stars from our balcony was stunning. It’s not a fancy hotel but is spotlessly clean with friendly staff. We appreciated how quiet it is with no loud music or nightly entertainment which is why we booked it. The private beach is lovely, the weather was perfect every day and the pool is gorgeous. We enjoyed walking up the hill behind the resort where we saw many wonderful birds. We will go back.

Fantastic design, great pool, beach is fantastic, some lovely staff. Food prices are higher than town, and there are some really great restaurants there. Unfortunately, a little too far to walk downtown, so $5 cab fares are easy but necessary. The hotel has trouble with simple systems-I wanted to book dinner, but you cannot from the restaurant, only from the front desk, and only the same day. The room key failed multiple times during our stay. Small things in comparison to the overall wonderful experience we had. We would return in a heartbeat!

The hotel is quite and relax, the best is the staff at the pool/beach bar. Nice place for the tourist who wants a quite and relax place with no kids. Room in need of renovation and some care. What is unforgivable is that we were a group of 40 people and 3 of us have items disappeared from the room. I made the claim for Dior sunglasess with value 300 dollars, room 26, from room 57, a hat and from another room a pair of airpods. it's pity that the location invites you to relax, but if one has to be aware that you are not robbed, then it makes no sense to go on vacation to such a place.

We had room #6 - it is the one in the Photos section in TA under "Professional" photos for "Oceanfront with Private Pool" - the pool room that is out furthest with some trees on each side of the pool. I think it was around $45 CDN per night (as it is a bit more than the "Oceanview Pool rooms"). I think the pool makes the room, so I do recommend it as a must.
